In a renovated Franciscan convent from 1570, this luxurious hotel boasts an outdoor swimming pool, charming Spanish galleries and a central courtyard with a water fountain. There are gym facilities. WiFi is free. At Hotel Dann Monasterio guests can book a massage or relax at the Turkish bath. “Beautiful converted property.”
Beautiful property in the heart of Popayan. We had a large, comfortable room with a view. The pool was a welcome are to relax in the afternoons. Staff were all lovely. Recommend ed.

Most of the staff is speaking only Spanish then it is difficult to deal particularly at the reception. If the building had a elevator should be better to reach the rooms at the first floor. The entrance is beautiful but difficult to enter with the luggage.

This place is so worth the price. Very friendly staff, very comfortable beds, nice shower, great ground, pool, sauna and turco, great breakfast The only thing missing is a jacuzzi, but they said they're thinking of putting one in. We really enjoyed our time here secure parking, and very pet friendly.

“Perfect and charming”
Exceptionally charming hotel, the most beautiful we had in Colombia. Very close to the historical center. Very good menu at the restaurant. The rooms are authentic and large. There is a bath (the only one we had in Colombia).

“Lovely building but few issues with management”
The hotel is right at the centre of Popayan so location is perfect to walk around and explore the city. The staff is helpful and accommodating, however there were few points on the communication that made our experience less enjoyable. Also it feels like they are short of stuff at the restaurant during breakfast time, no body is refilling so you have to wait for more bread, cheese etc to come around. They are trying their best but there aren’t enough employees.
