Great hotel

We stayed at the Schweizerhof Hotel in Pontresina for one night during the Engadin Ski Marathon 2026. The front desk staff were welcoming, and the check-in process was efficient and timely. Our room was both spacious and comfortable, offering a pleasant view of the Swiss Alps. The breakfast provided a wide variety of options, and the dining area itself was bright, airy, and generously sized, contributing to an enjoyable start to the day. We also stored our luggage upon check-out which was a great help.

“Mountain retreat”

Friendly, comfortable hotel in a great location with mountains on all sides with helpful staff. Our room was large with a nice ensuite bathroom with two sinks and a bath - shower over the top. They left a couple of herbal teas and coffee but no milk - however Coop is very handy round the corner. The breakfast was good quality and plentiful, self service so it can be as quick or relaxed as you make it. Nice areas in the hotel for sitting to read a book. On Sundays 5.00 til 5.30 there is a welcome drink (free I think) in the bar. Would be good if staff highlighted this - we read a notice in the lift but too late to remake plans.

The breakfast is nice, the room was fairly new and large enough for a family of three. The location is just amazing with ski and cross country slopes nearby.

Great location right in the heart of Pontresina Dorf. Parking on site and access to Thermal Pool at Bella Vista. Large room with balcony and lots of space for our dog to move around. Very good Breakfast buffet and really wonderful & warm staff.

Beautiful views and very helpful friendly staff. Lovely big and clean room and comfy beds. Nice breakfast but dining room bit bland and clinical. Typical of a largish hotel.

This is a spacious hotel - our rooms were large, lots of space to unpack. Wonderful views of the valleys and mountains in Upper Engadine. The restaurant also very spacious. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel gives transportation passes after a 2-day stay. We went to Diavolezza, numerous times to Muotta Muragl. All the busses leave from the Post Office, a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is on the main street, with all the restaurants within easy walking distance. Worth going to Diavolezza lift to look at all the 4000 m. peaks across the great glaciers. Pontresina is a quiet town, there were no package holiday tourists.
