Overview
Located in the centre of Pontresina, Hotel Allegra is directly connected to the Bellavita Spa Centre with its indoor and outdoor pools and it features ski storage facilities, a ski boot dryer and a hotel bar and lounge. WiFi is available free of charge. The modern rooms are designed according to Feng Shui principles. They feature wooden floors, a seating area, satellite TV, and a bathroom with bathrobes and hairdryer. A scrumptious breakfast, featuring local dishes and products, is served every morning at the Hotel Allegra. Drinks can be savoured at the in-house hotel bar and lounge. Garage or open-air parking at the Allegra hotel is possible at the additional cost. Both have limited spaces and prior reservation is needed. A shuttle service to and from Pontresina Train Station is available on request, and the Pontresina Post Bus Stop is 300 metres away. A restaurant can be found within 30 metres of the hotel. Guests staying 2 nights or more can use public transports in the Upper Engadine for free. In summer, the use of the cable cars is also included and in winter, reduced ski passes are available.

Great place for a stay. We only wanted one night as travelling through to Florence but thoroughly enjoyed our time. Regina on the front seat is a treasure as knows all the answers to your questions from where to eat to where to visit. Very welcoming and attentive to every need. Located between many dining spots and a shuttle from the train station as well. Make sure to contact them ahead of your arrival. Thank you to Regina and all the staff who made made our short stay so enjoyable.

“Beautiful Family owned hotel in the picturesque town.”
We were positively surprised by how lovely this hotel is. The location is perfect, the facilities and staff are incredible. Small details matter, like the shuttle to the train station, little welcome sweets in the room, coffee machine, and nice bathrobes. Breakfast was delicious, and the bar was really great with a great vibe. I hope to go back soon.

I had a truly delightful stay at the Allegra Hotel in Pontresina. The hotel was charming, beautifully maintained, and offered a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the attention to detail really shows. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and service-minded, always making sure guests felt well taken care of. With its great location and inviting ambiance, it is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Pontresina. Highly recommended!

“A real Gem of a hotel in a beautiful town”
The staff were amazing and went out of their way to respond to questions and help us out. The rooms were really comfortable and had excellent bathrooms. They had emailed us before to find out the configuration of the rooms so it was great to find that our kids had a twin bedroom and not a double that often happens. You get a pass for the local transport with the hotel which was fantastic so we could travel around on the buses for free. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options for us to choose from. The hotel has access via its own underground tunnel to the local swimming pool with a fantastic outside heated pool. It wasn't too busy when we were there and a real treat for us and our daughter. They even arranged a free shuttle bus to the station on our last day which was brilliant.

“Great hotel in the town center”
Perfect location in the town center; nice breakfast; generally friendly staff and nice room. As a plus, we could park the electric car in the garage and charge (at cost). Great bar and bar lady. All in all, great stay!

“Great place for a nordic ski holiday”
Great hotel with top staff in the middle of Pontresina. Superb breakfast buffet, spacious rooms with comfy beds. Top value for money. Waxing table with 2 Nordic profiles. Cupcakes and apples with water as a welcome gift. 🤩

“Worst hotel ever”
The staff was rude.. Charged an additional 83 and 74 chf per day for 2 kids under 9 and 11. They called the police when we wanted to pay 50 chf each as per what was mentioned in the booking.com booking confirmation and refused to realize our bags. Also making insulting and racist comments saying they would not confirm bookings by a certain race of people again !!!! Once the police came they also agreed with us and said it was a civil matter and they could not be involved. The front desk receptionist was outrageous, loud and totally inhospitable. It is the worst stay we have ever had ever inspite of spending almost 1100 dollars a night for 3 rooms for a 3 star hotel.

Lovely hotel with really knowledgeable and friendly staff. Loved the Endagin travel pass. Very nice breakfast with lots of choice. Room was quiet, spacious and spotless. We drink tea rather than coffee and a kettle was provided on request. Heated outdoor pool with fantastic mountain view was also great.
