“A very good stay in a pleasant hotel”
The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean and breakfast was very good. The hotel is located very close to the village centre and the little harbour. Ponta do Sol is a very good hub for hikers.

This place is extraordinary, but they need fans in the rooms. It gets too hot and you can't open the windows because there are too many mosquitoes, so there's no way to cool it

Danilo at reception was exceptional in always answering any question I had before arrival. Superb. This is a modern property with sea view, a nice terrace, and good restaurant for breakfast. friendly owners, whom I met at breakfast. The property is located 5 minutes away from the very nice village square and church and from the path from Punta del Sol to Cruzinha.

Very well run place, generous to a fault. We had asked for twin beds but they didn’t have any room with twin beds so they gave us a complimentary second room. Even though the suite I had booked was very big and could have easily accommodated a second bed. On our second night, we went to the restaurant. We were told they hadn’t opened yet as they had been doing some renovations but they kindly offered to cook a meal especially for us. Not only was it greatly appreciated as after hiking all the way the Cruzinha, I could not have walked any further, but the meal was excellent.

The door to our room was made of transparent, dark glass. Our room was with an open bathroom. This was unacceptable
