Beautiful, green little resort that makes you feel like you're staying in nature while still offering great amenities. Really nice staff and great food are offered, while you have two pools (a small one and a bigger one) to choose from and can even enjoy a little Spa. Walk to the beach takes you just 5-10 minutes.

Rustic & Tranquil environment. Staff and owner Bev very friendly and accommodating. Great amenities and very relaxed atmosphere. Walking access to beach and great restaurant. Great place to stop over / getaway in Ponta. We had a lovely stay thanks Bev. Will definitely be back! 😁

Our two week stay at Gala Gala was nothing short of amazing. Our hosts, Bev and Mandy were extremely welcoming. The staff were lovely! Tony prepared us a delicious breakfast daily, he is such a gentleman. Chico, was always at hand to provide any information we needed as well as to transport us to the nearby restaurants. He really is committed and extremely dedicated. Gala Gala has two pools, a short walk to beach access and so much more. The communal entertainment area is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was such a surprise to discover a beautiful little library. I could continue for hours singing Gala Gala's praises. It felt like a once in a life time trip.

We had to have breakfast early every day so we could scuba dive, Tony the chef was on time every morning preparing an excellent breakfast!

We loved the personal service, owner involvement, beautiful setting, lovely deluxe cabana. The setting and trees and environment are lovely. Staff are very accommodating and helpful. The cats and dogs are also adorable. Love that we had a braai, hammock and kitchen in our unit. Our stay was perfect

“Worth Repeat Visits”

The staff were incredible, accommodation clean and comfortable The "leisure areas" provided both a mix of privacy and when wanted great relaxed communal seating. Splash pool was great. Breakfasts were well prepared and our dinner exceptional with freshly caught fish.

The decor and layout of the lodge made it feel like staying in a little forest. The mosquito net was a great touch. The food was delicious. The facilities were great like the honesty bar, the pool, the beach nearby and we also played the boardgames that were available.

Comfortable rustic rooms with pleasant areas to relax. I enjoyed the fire that was lit every evening.

Very clean and neat resort, even the pathways between the chalets were cleaned daily, the owner and the staff are very professional, efficient and accommodating. The units are well equipped and everything worked well. The rescue animals are well behaved and socialised, its a pleasure to have them around. Its also near enough to town so you can walk there but not in town which we like.
