A little piece of heaven. Oliver was great, so proud of his hotel, the gardens smell wonderful, the room was a delight, breakfast was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The car parking is good, we visited Royan and the coast both beautiful .. we will be back

Lovely, clean property. Private(ish) parking area for the property at the rear. Owner/host was lovely too. Nice spacious bedroom and bathroom, separate toilet. Breakfast was also very good.

Our host Olivier is the best we have encountered along the French route of our travels. He knows how to make people feel at home, is gracious and has a wonderful sense of humour. Nothing is too much trouble for him, accommodating your every need. The room we stayed in is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Bathroom spacious and everything you need supplied. Great night sleep breakfast was also tasty and plentiful. Parking a bit of a squeeze with our van as we were the last to arrive. Dogs allowed into dining room which is another plus. We had an evening meal which was superb! We will definitely return on future travels.

Very comfortable and stylish place with a great atmosphere. The room was spotless, the breakfast was delicious, and the view from the window was beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area! ☀️

The entire atmosphere of the place both in architecture and interior. It was a perfect spot to relax before heading to the next destination. Best of all? The amazing host Olivier! Stop looking and make this reservation, 5 stars 🌟 On booking we felt La Tillaie was going to be special but host Olivier is the most genuine caring host we could have wished for and it is a lovely experience to be in his company. The food is exquisite and Olivier made our stay feel exceptional. La Tillaie is beautiful and has been restored with great care making the house a joy to stay in.

A very warm welcome , a most delicious homemade supper served on the terrace ,after an aperitif , surrounded by the scent of summer in the stunning garden , before sleeping soundly in the air conditioned attic suite in a super huge comfy bed . What more is to say except we very much look forward to our next visit . Thankyou .

We stayed one night in June on our way back to the UK and enjoyed it so much that we returned for a longer stay to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Oliver made us very welcome and the evening meals were so good we ate there for 2 of the 3 nights. Can’t say enough good things about Oliver and La Tillaie. He made us very welcome including our dog as this was a key factor in returning as a number of places say dog friendly when in fact they aren't.
