If I were the Michelin commissioner, I would award Happy Villa with three stars: Worth for an independent tour. This place has everything, plus your host will make you feel at home. Our stay was simply too short to enjoy all the options this accommodation offers. It is also positioned well for island exploration. Oh, and not mentioning superb breakfast starting with a healthy shot. You will be in good hands and with a full stack of options for every day of exploration of charming Dominica.

I had a wonderful stay in Harmony Villa. Carla, the lovely host, helped me arrange beautiful hikes across the island and she introduced me to lovely people. Do not hesitate to book your stay with her. And when, after a magnificent day in the mountains, you return to the villa, and Carla offers you her infamous rum punch, sit down and listen to the her vibrant stories of an amazing family history on this most beautiful of eastern Caribbean islands.

A wonderful stay in a remote location in the fairly cool mountains of Dominica. The most lovely hosts, a wonderful, healthy breakfast on a terrace in the green jungle. You feel really welcome. Don’t miss Carla‘s recommendations if she is around.

“Amazing place in the middle of the nature!”

We had an amazing stay in Harmony Villa! Before our arrival, the communication with the owner was very fluid and she was so helpful. When entering the property, we were charmed by the typical creole house and the garden. The place is decorated with great taste, the suite was magnificent and we felt instantly at home. We were welcomed by Claudia, the lady taking care of the house (she is there only during the day). She was very nice and prepared every morning a delicious breakfast. We recommend!

Peaceful location in the hills . The property had lots of indoor and outdoor seating space. The breakfast which Claudia made for us were also lovely.

The Villa is very nice and you feel at home immediately. The veranda is beautiful, a place to enjoy breakfast and enjoy your leisure time. The care taker Claudia is amazing, her breakfast is very good and she is such a helpful person. Carla, the owner, is very professionell in communicating upfront to make sure you get to the villa but also when you are there. She also helped me with the car rental which was a challenge during high season. Location is perfect as you are right in the middle of the island, easy to get anywhere. The surroundings are quiet, you definitely sleep well. I will always keep this stay in my memories and would return anytime.

Harmony Villa is a wonderful place where we felt at home, relaxed and rejuvenated. The fresh mountain air, beautiful paintings with vibrant colours, lovely ambience of the building and gardens, the melodious sounds of the birds were all captivating. The breakfast prepared by Claudia who is such a lovely person, was delicious and enjoyable. We were very appreciative of Carla who took the time to prepare an itinerary of suggestive places for us to visit and checked in with us to ensure that we were comfortable. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Harmony Villa 5 nights, the house itself and the garden are so beautiful. We had a rental car to explore whole of the island and from my point of view is this the best accomodation on Dominica. The central location in the forest, where is only this house is perfect. in the night you hear only the sounds of nature. The equipment and the decorations are so nice. We had also every morning a very good continental breakfast, which prepared for us the houskeeper. The house owner itself was per whatsup very nice and helpful, unfortunately in England during our stay.

Beautiful setting in the middle of nature, but you do need a car to get around. We stayed in the master suite of the Villa which was very spacious and very clean, but the veranda was the highlight! Fantastic sunsets etc. Also very useful to have an equipped kitchen to use on days (like Sundays) where there are limited restaurant options open on the island. The owner, Carla, was incredibly helpful in planning our days filled with exciting activities around the island and the housekeeper Claudia was also very welcoming and made an excellent breakfast.

Breakfast was delicious and freshly made, and we were so well looked after for the entire duration of our stay. Carla was a font of knowledge about the island and knows everybody! She gave us some great recommendations and we felt we really got to know Dominica properly as a result. There were several beautiful waterfalls quite close to the property which was a real bonus. The property itself is stunning and full of artwork that Carla has either collected or created herself. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

The location of the house is beautiful set in a glorious garden in the rainforest. The house itself is stunning with beautiful artwork everywhere. It was great having the kitchen so we could prepare our own evening meals. In the mornings we were served delicious breakfast on the huge veranda by housekeeper Claudia. A lovely way to start the day. Our master suite bedroom was large and comfortable with seating to relax in. The bathroom has a powerful shower and a lovely large bath which is great after a day of hiking. Carla, the owner is friendly and very helpful, setting up a WhatsApp group to keep us updated with ideas of where to go and what to do plus arranging guides for our various treks. A car is really essential for getting the most from the island. We would definitely stay again if we return to Dominica

Fabulous location with lovely views. Very comfortable rooms with access to large verandah. Very nice breakfast and very attentive hosts, who were extremely helpful, organising lunch bookings and suggestions of things to do. There are a number of eateries within easy driving access.

Stunning setting, beautiful house filled with art. Very peaceful and comfortable. Very well looked after by wonderful Claudia who made us delicious breakfasts and a yummy Callalou soup, highly recommended!
