This counts as one of the nicest stays we have ever had to be sure. Home made jams and yoghurt a superbly comfortable bed great shower, embroidered towels and a hostess who was so so lovely! Restaurants just round the corner and if the weather was nicer which it wasnt a pool too!!

A wonderful property in the centre of Pons. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome and at home throughout our stay. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was spacious and equally immaculate. The bed and bedding were exceptionally comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. The house also has a lovely swimming pool, which looked very inviting, although unfortunately we didn’t have time to use it. The garden was beautiful, full of flowers and lovely scents, and it was a pleasure to have breakfast there in the morning. Breakfast itself was delicious and very generous, with the homemade jams being particularly memorable. The property is perfectly located in the centre of town, with plenty of bars and restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. Pons itself is a very picturesque town and well worth visiting. Overall, a lovely place to stay and excellent value for money.

“A jewel in an interesting village”

This place is a little gem. A beautiful traditional house, a charming, quirky garden, friendly and attentive hosts who clearly love meeting people and for whom nothing was too much trouble. They even brought an espresso for elevenses. Bonuses: a plunge pool and two friendly cats. Parking was just outside. The room, which had a bit of an Egyptian theme going on, was large, comfortable and immaculately clean. The modern bathroom with large shower and separate toilet were partitioned off from the room through sliding doors. Blushes were spared by using the toilet at the back of the hall! Breakfast was served in the garden - your choices of hot drink and juice, with ham, cheese, bread and croissants, home-made yogurt and preserves and honey. We chose to stop here when driving from Cherbourg to southern Spain, plumping for Pons simply because it was en route. The tiny village turned out to be awash with ancient buildings, including the pilgrims’ hospital, a UNESCO World Heritage site!
