Delightful property, situated just outside the historic town of Pons. Ideal for a stopover en route travelling through France, but also the area is a great holiday destination in its own right. Sylvie was a great host, so helpful with ideas of where to eat, visit etc. Room super comfortable, with luxurious bathroom, just what we needed after our long journey. We stayed two nights, and enjoyed the delicious breakfasts while chatting with fellow guests. Beautiful grounds, which would have been delightful to pass the day in, if there hadn't been so much to do. Sylvie and her husband have made this beautiful historic house into a truly memorable place to stay.

We loved our stay in the chateau in such a lovely location. Our hosts were charming, friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, so much character and with everything we needed. And the breakfast, wow! It was great. Wished we could have stayed longer. I hope we can return soon.

Lovely little chateau tucked away from the main road. Stunning setting with river flowing at the bottom of the property. Very well looked after. Owners communicative and friendly, present upon arrival, showed us the property and made a reservation at the local restaurant for us (which was a great venue for a family with young kids). They made a lovely breakfast as well.

The building is amazing. Built in the 12th century and beautifully restored. A fantastic location for some remote working.

Very special location! Super clean, nice bed and great breakfast. Special experience were you feel like a royalty. Friendly welcome and host. I travelled with two kids under 5. For them it was difficult not to touch everything and stay calm. But with calm and quiet kids for sure not an issue!

“Great period property”

We loved the location, though which a small river flows, the gardens,, the stately entrance. It's also situated conveniently close to the A10. There's also a E.Leclerc hipermarket located within 4 Kms which also has a petrol station to avoid having to pay the high autoroute prices. We had a very large, comfortable room with a spacious bathroom. Sylvain was a very attentive host who made us feel very welcome on arrival. The parking is adequate and we had no problem with the large trailer that we were towing. Also great breakfast.

Perfect location as a stopping point en route from St Malo to Spain, approx 4.5 hours driving time. Lovely old house, steeped in history and set in pretty grounds by a river. Very friendly hosts made us feel very welcome. Grand chateau room with large comfortable bed and lovely en-suite bathroom.Very good breakfast, gluten free options provided without a problem.

The breakfast was superb. Fresh croissants and bread, homemade jams, delicious fruit salads, cereals and ham for the children. Yum. The pool outside was very welcome on a hot day. The ensuite bathroom was 5* hotel-esque.
