“Good value accommodation if a little quirky and basic. Friendly proprietor and good access to the centre and surroundin”
Quirky place. friendly proprietor who was very helpful in recommending places to visit etc. easy 15 minute drive to the centre and close to other highlights such as Las Medulas. Nice cool accommodation due to being under canopy of trees, room basic but clean. Good WiFi.

“Quirky and different but a great stay”
Bernard the owner was very attentive. The place is quirky and different which makes for a lovely stay. It is well situated for a visit to Ponferrada. Bernard is very knowledgeable of the town and the region - use his wealth of knowledge

“Parking was good ,slept well, staff working hard but still a bit to do.It was as if it was just open”
Breakfast was good at a fair price. We had to ask for a change of room as it was far to small for two people and not as like in phots.The bed was ok. We excepted the hotel rural situation on the understanding it had a restraurant,but it did not. The bar was a very casual affair. It has promise but seems like work in progress.We were not happy but not unhappy.Good parking

Authentic, very friendly staff, relaxed and quiet, great home made wine and food. Good for small families, couples etc. I used as a stopover. The owner kindly cooked me a meal on a Bank Holiday when all restaurants were closed.

“A somewhat strange (not bad) experience.”
Difficult to review this place. Is a little out of town. So it was quiet. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. We spoke with owner on morning of our departure and he was friendly and keen to explain how to get back on to the Camino route. Bike storage in the hotel.

“Beautiful hotel and very good value for money.”
One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in and set in its own woodland park with plenty of space for parking the car. Excellent value for money and very friendly. The unique Las Medulas Roman mine is located nearby.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it’s located on one of the main roads into Ponferrada. If you’re looking for somewhere for a night, it’s perfect.

This place is a little gem. A beautiful old stone building renovated to provide sizable rooms. Very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. They want you to enjoy your stay. They made a special effort to prepare us a plant based meal for dinner. Discover it for yourselves and enjoy.
