What a find. Highly recommend staying here. Easy walk into Pompei. 20-30 flat. Bonus after a long day site seeing. Don’t need to find a restaurant. Car park easy access. Train station 10 min walk for a trip to Naples. Restaurant only closed Sundays.

Nothing than the best

A gem of a place in a location that can't be beat if you are touring the Pompeii Scavi. The establishment in itself is very good - clean, comfortable rooms with great views of the Vesuvius. The restaurant is an added bonus with great food and drinks. But the absolute clincher is the ever-helpful and friendly staff who make you feel right at home. Grazie Paolo, Domenico and, of course, others whose names I couldn't get.

“Perfect for visiting the Pompei archaeological site”

Perfect location if you plan to visit the ruins in Pompei or Herculaneum. Within walking distance (10-15min) to the main entrance to the Pompei excavation grounds (Porta Marina) and the railway station "Pompei Scavi" of the Circumvesuviana line just across the street from the main entrance. Our room on the upper floor of the main building was comfortable and spacious and had a balcony which afforded a fantastic view towards Capri and Mount Vesuvio.. Very convenient to have on-site a restaurant which serves Neapolitan cuisine (Osteria Nonna Cherubina, where also excellent breakfast is being served). Secure, ample parking. Contrary to our concerns, the busy Autostrada A3, which is in rather close distance to the property, turned out not to be a nuisance.

Great location for visiting Pompeii and getting to the station and can also walk to the MaxiMall shopping centre. Very clean and comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast excellent. Restaurant in the evening also very good. Recommended to us by friends and we were very pleased we had followed their advice.

“Perfect spot to explore Pompei”

Very nice and calm place (early April stay). Excellent breakfast with lots of varied local cakes. Super comfortable huge bed and nice space outdoors in the veranda. It is very close to the entrance of the archaeological site. If you do not have a car, to get to the hotel from Napoli, make sure to get the Circumvesuviana train to Pompei Scavi and not to Pompei Santuario with the regular FFSS train. To get to the hotel do NOT follow google maps. Turn left out of the station climb the small hill and go down again until you cross the train tracks, about 100m further enter the hotel by the parking lot of the Osteria (it is about 650m from the station).

Excellent location for visiting Pompei and easy walk to the train station. Very amble breakfast offered with the best hot chocolate! Relais Country House is a very comfortable Bed and Breakfast to stay in this locality, no frills but exceptionally clean, large bedrooms/ bathrooms and excellent balconies on the first floor with views to Mount Versuvius. The Solarium on the top floor has two cabana style seating areas with views over the rooftops to the sea, Capri, great for a drink after a long day in Pompei. The loestria (little restaurant) is adequate for an easy meal.
