“Disappointed!”
Where do I start????? 😡 we had reservations to stay at Sands Harbor Resort & Marina, called the day before to learn that they were closed until November, although they made arrangements to have us stay at a partner hotel, I was not satisfied and did not want to stay on the beach. No official notice was provided to guests prior to checking in. The partner property did not check all the boxes, expensive valet, got a view facing the wall of an adjacent building, lobby was warm, main entrance door very heavy and difficult to open. I saw on the reviews that the hotel closed abruptly four days prior with no notice to staff. This is very unprofessional!!!

“It was worth it”
The location was amazing, I could walk to the beach, the marina was beautiful. The staff was amazing. The fact that I got a complimentary upgrade was great, the view from my balcony was great. Everyone at the property was so nice and accommodating. I will definitely have another stay.

“Very disappointing”
The view from our balcony was lovely. It was great to be right on the canal. There is a nice bar at the hotel which we enjoyed. We had cocktails and snacks and the view was awesome.

“Had a great time and would come back”
The resort is beautiful right on the marina. It was great to watch the boats come in and out of the coastal area. The food at the bar restaurant was delicious. The staff was excellent.

“Don't stay here”
Hotel is obviously old and interesting construction in many areas. The furniture was sparse and chipped. Very expensive nightly rates for a beat up old hotel.
