The fact they let me in. In seriousness, it was corporate and sterile, so in a "you know what you're getting" kind of way it was more than acceptable.

“Avoidable”

We arrived at 12:20 (just after midnight) and the front door was locked. I tried to go in to talk to the receptionist but she spoke to me through the intercom, saying that she no longer accepts walk-in tourists. I tried to explain to her that I had just made the reservation through Booking, and it might take a while before it would show up in their system. But she told me in a superior tone that they are Hilton, and not a 3rd party agency, and that I need to talk to Booking and see why the reservation doesn't appear on their system, and that she most likely won't be able to accommodate us because the reservation was made after 12 at night, and the reservation will go into effect for the next day (as a result, check-in will be possible after 3 PM of the same day). After about 30/40 minutes of waiting (and after a 12-hour flight), she told us that she now finds the reservation in the system and can accommodate us. So we finally managed to get to the room around 1:30 AM .. The same for breakfast, because we slept quite late, at 9:40 we managed to get to the table, at 10 o'clock sharp, the lady closed the breakfast doors with us inside ..we managed to get something on a plate.. cardboard plate, with disposable cutlery. As soon as he closed the doors while we were trying to eat something, he started pulling chairs near us and vacuuming. I have never encountered such indifferent and unprofessional staff in a Hilton hotel.

I have mixed feelings because the hotel is very nice, the room is very nice and the view is superb. But the receptionist was not so nice. We paid for it on site so I won't describe it here. It's also a shame about the paid parking, I found out about it when I withdrew the money from my bank account.

They are not refunding me my deposit yet

The breakfast was apocalyptic. Everything was single serving wrapped in plastic. Paper plates and disposable plastic. For an Hilton chain hotel this is Absolutely diabolical and unacceptable in the 21st century.
