Everything was perfect, nothing was too much trouble for the owners, the homemade breakfast was always delicious, the decor throughout was lovely, the outdoor area was a really nice place to relax and the overall customer service was exceptional, better than anywhere we have ever stayed, which includes some of the finest places in the world. We would highly recommend staying at La Glycine Blanche, it is amazing. We will definitely return.

The place was amazing, beautifully decorated, breakfast was great home cooked biscuits and buns. The village was pleasant and the folk at the local bar were very welcoming.

We stayed for one night and were very impressed . The accommodation was wonderful and the decor very tasteful. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with gluten free needs catered for. Jean Francois was a perfect host.

Everything was lovely. The host was friendly, warm and welcoming and his house and garden so pretty. Everything felt as though it was done with love. Homemade cookies in our room and homemade jam, marmalade, yoghurt, muffins and banana cake for breakfast alongside toasted breads and croissants. Comfortable beds dressed in ‘just right’ linens. The owners should feel very proud of what they offer weary travellers. Highly, highly recommended.

Warm welcome from Jean-François who even emailed us to warn us of a road closure in the village. Excellent breakfast each morning. Beautiful garden looked after by Claude. Lovely comfortable room and spacious bathroom. Good location for Limoux, Carcassonne, Canal du Midi, vineyards etc.

“Most friendly and couzy accueil we've had in this part of France”

The host, Jean François, is an accomplished and cheerful fellow who adapts to your interests, be they divine or mundane, with considerable knowledge of the country's history and architecture. He showed an interest beyond what was expected in helping us enjoy our stay in the Aude. We are sorry that we did not plan in advance to reserve the table d'hôtes. Breakfast is continental (i.e French) with everything you would expect and a little more. Also, they asked us if we wanted eggs or something different. The house is decorated with coherence, care and very good taste, showing impeccable cleanliness. The room where we spent the night had a bathroom separated by a small hall, both rooms full of pleasant details. A place to repeat.

We had an excellent stay, beautiful old house with very nice rooms, the breakfast was very good. It was a perfect place for going to Carcassonne, Toulouse, Narbonne and the Mediterranean. Jean-Francois and Claude are top hosts.

Everything! The property is located in a quiet village within easy reach of Carcassonne, Limoux and the many surrounding villages. Our room was cool, comfortable, impeccably clean and very well decorated room with a great bed that made for an excellent night’s sleep after exploring the area. The inclusion of teas and homemade cookies was a lovely touch. The bathroom was large and had a great shower. We had home made breakfast each morning and our hosts, Jean-Francois and Claude, both catered for and entertained us. Sorry to leave, and looking forward to returning.

The property is a very large home that has been beautifully renovated. Jean-François is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. The whole house is in perfect order and spotlessly clean. The garden is also lovely. Our room was a private suite with the door opening into a small lobby with the bathroom and bedroom doors separate. It was so quiet and comfortable, we slept late! Everything you could imagine was provided in this beautiful space including home made cookies. Breakfast was perfect, Jean-François made the yogurt and the jams. Thank you so much!

Jean Francois and Claude were exceptional hosts, they were extremely charming and attentive to my needs as a guest , this was particularly evident as regards my dietary needs. The food was fresh and innovative , cooked imaginatively and beautifully served with a smile !! Both were generous in the use of their cars to make the area more accessible and less stressful to get around. It was a wonderful end to my holiday and I am very grateful to them for that. Merci.
