The home stay is located near to the ancient temple, and the city as well. Polonnaruwa is a really great place. The family, and the people in the city are really friendly. If you order a breakfast, or dinner, they give you a lot of delicious food. Thank you!

I rented a bicycle from the host and spent the whole day exploring the ancient city. The bike was in good condition and very easy to ride. There was hot water for the shower, which was great after a long day out.

“Great place that feels like home”
Nice and cozy room, clean, away from the road. It was very quiet there. The owners are a beautiful family, they cooked every day local dishes for me. It’s not far from the lake and the ancient city

We had a wonderful family stay in Polonnaruwa. The room was very comfortable and clean. What really made the experience special was the care and kindness of the family. The food was delicious, home-cooked, and made with so much love. The son was always in contact with me on WhatsApp, checking if everything was okay and if we needed anything, which made us feel very well looked after. The parents were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuine. We truly felt at home and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Polonnaruwa.

I liked everything: the room was spacious and clean, the family owning the house were lovely and always helpful, the food abundant and delicious. The house itself is immersed in a green, lush garden. Very peaceful and relaxing

Great property, large very clean room. Lovely location close to the canal and lake. The family were very nice, super helpful, kind and friendly. The homemade breakfasts and dinners were delicious.

The host and his family were extremely kind, informative and helpful. I have never been treated so well! They offer bicycle rides, taxi services, daily homecooked meals (which are the most delicious Sri Lankan meals you’ll have). You will not want for anything here.

“Amazing home stay”
The landlord was very friendly. We could rent from him the bicycles which are essentially to go around the city. 15 minutes bicycling from the ancient city of Polonarruwa. The house is beautiful with a lot of green, trees and flowers. And you can walk in 5 minutes to a beautiful river and lake. The dinner we had in the house was amazing, one of the best in the country. Even the breakfast was really reach. Harry up while having it because monkeys wake up in the morning and would love to partecipate to the breakfast 🤣 but don’t worry the landlord will help you in case and anyway they are very peaceful
