Very clean facilities if a little tired.On a busy main road but didn't notice it at night. Very near to ancient city so location great. Used the pool which is lovely and enjoyed watching the birds in the garden. Breakfast is good. The staff were lovely.

Poor service

Royal Nest Hotel in Polonnaruwa is a peaceful and well-kept place to stay, offering clean and comfortable rooms, friendly service, and a nicely landscaped environment that makes it easy to relax after exploring the ancient city; the breakfast has good variety and overall quality, though some amenities feel a bit basic and the Wi-Fi can be inconsistent at times, but for the price and location it’s a solid choice that delivers comfort, convenience, and good value in one place.

Great hotel. Super nice pool with plenty of shade and seating. Very attentive staff who couldn't do enough for you. Included breakfast was top notch. Set you up for the day. We had dinner there one night and it also was very nice. Rooms large and clean.

The swimming pool was a great gift at our arrival in Polonnaruwa, before visiting the ancient site. We are very thankful to the manager who arranged a good Sri Lankan dinner for us at the property.

We had a lovely stay here as a family with our 3 children. Our host was very attentive and made a big difference to our comfort. We had a very large family room. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the large pool. Thank you, Mr. Chatamara.

It's a great place to stay. The manager is super nice and helpful. Friendly staff. Very good location, everything is within walking distance or accessible by tuk-tuk. Very clean. AC worked great. Nice refreshing pool. Very good food. I can highly recommend the accommodation.

Rooms bathrooms garden were clean.didnt use the pool but was informed that they clean it daily.

We chose this hotel as it seemed the best option which suited our needs whilst visiting Polonnaruwa. Convenient location. The family room was spacious with air conditioning and hot water working well. Good Food. Excellent service by Mr Perera and the team at Royal Nest. Highly recommended
