The room was good, the bed was comfortable, the owner very kind and helpful. The garden is full of deer and other animals. It was even nicer. The location of the place was perfect !

Incredibile location! Basically right next to the ruins. Great value for money and a good abundant breakfast. Plus the garden is huge and full of monkeys. Deer can be often spotted in the garden in the morning and evening!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect, the place is simple but very nice and well kept, and the price is very reasonable. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It felt like home. Would stay again!

“Lovely place!”

The place is about 10 minutes away from mirissa, but quiet and in the middle of nature. The owner is a lovely lady who does her best to make you feel very comfortable. I was notified even when a turtle was passing in the street....she organized me a bicycle which gave me a lot of freedom. Iextended my one night to 3 nights! Very recomendable,nice large bed, big room and bathroom and very clean!thank you!!!

Great location: Close to ruins . A wonderful host and son . They arranged my bicycle it was my main transportation . Most importantly the deers coming there in evening . I definitely recommend this one .

The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size, the location is in walking distance to the ancient city entrance and any shop you might need, but on a lovely quiet back street - and there really are deer in the garden we watched eating breakfast. Very good value budget option.

Very close by to the city

The room was equipped with very old furniture, it very hot in there, very old fan which was so noisy that it was hard to sleep, the owner wanted us to leave earlier than the check out time was (9:30 am).

“Tranquil with deer and monkeys”

Very quiet and surrounded by large trees, historic sites and irrigation canal that is being fed by the ancient Parakrama Samudra nearby. Ranjith, the retired school teacher and the owner of the place helped me to brush up my Singhalese, his wife Amara made me a mouthwatering evening meal of rice and five curries. Dilshan the owner's son was very engaging and helped with me need. Wonderful stay. Lots and lots of monkeys playing around and even a family of deer 🦌 walk calmly through the garden. Thanks

Its very close to city and i have met up my expectations during the trip.

The host family was very friendly and helpfull. The original Sri Lanka food was very delicious and plenty. The location is a dream for nature lovers with a lot of wildlife in the garden, on the fringe of the jungle an just a step to the ruins of Polonnaruwa.
