“a little piece of heaven”

Awesome location, The house has a view at the valley which is truly amazing. The contrast between the buzzing coastal towns and the peace and quiet here is palpable. Sunset from the parking lot bench while reading a book was my highlight!

The place is really Nice, The owners are really helpful. Dinner and breakfast were good too. Will see us again

“Excellent stay”

The location up in the mountain on the edge of a great green forest was superb. The building was a surprise with a lot of charme. The evening meal and the breakfast were excellent. We enjoyed the great atmosfeer.

I like it. It’s not very big in terms of walkable area, since there are signs everywhere that say “personnel only. The lady was very kind and explained a lot about the surroundings.

Karen and Luigi were excellent hosts and Luigi is an amazing chef. Karen gave great directions to towns and hiking

Amazing location, so peaceful, with beautiful nature all around. The views from the property were unbelievable. The kind owners made us feel at home and provided delicious homemade food. Highly recommended, we hope to be back one day!

We loved the beautifully restored old building and the location which is superb for hiking. There is an interesting village nearby which is about an hour's walk, quite steep up the hill. The owner has good maps of the area and can show you more than 10 hikes of different lengths. Having meals outside was just amazing.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. The house is a beautifully restored historic gem with sweet, traditional bedrooms. The garden is idyllic and the views are unparalleled. Not only that, but the hospitality we received was excellent - superb dinner, decent breakfast and friendliness from our host Karen.

The property is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay and the owners are lovely! We definitely come back!

The location is stunning and has a charm. Just make sure you're not arriving at night as the mountain roads leading to the property require an experienced driver!

“Beautiful”

Beautiful surroundings in the middle of the mountains, ideal as a starting position for a hike in the mountains. Excellent dinner with several courses. Friendly and helpful owners. We left early in the morning, they prepared breakfast for us in advance.

“A truly beautiful place”

The peaceful setting in the lovely Modonie Mountains was a delight and the accommodation was beyond our expectations set in a beautiful garden of a restored watch tower. It was a perfect location for hiking and exploring true Sicily with access to Cefalu close by. Breakfast was of a continental style and the set evening meals, with various courses, beautiful prepared and varied. Catering was adapted for a vegetarian diet and dining in a relaxed atmosphere. You will certainly be well fed The hosts, Karin and Luigi, were especially helpful and welcoming and we wished we had booked a longer stay with them
