“Very modern and spacious place to stay”
Great place to stay. Better than on photos. Very clean, well maintained, modern, spacious with AC and high ceilings. Good breakfast. Nice swimming pool. Lola is a great host. She helped us to organise few excursions in the area as well as dining option (Diana restaraunt is amazing!)

“Great place , friendly host , easily accessible to beach and restaurants”
Our ground floor room was fantastic with patio doors opening out to the pool . Room was very quiet . Lolo was very attentive and couldn’t do enough to help us. The location was great . Walkable to restaurant & local beach and Lola told us that if you go to beach at 7am you are most likely to see Turtles , which we did . Fantastic !

“The best accommodation in Sri Lanka”
Losu was by far the best place we have stayed at, during our 1 month stay in Sri Lanka. The place is beautifully made, the room comfortable and overlooking a great pool, which the kids really enjoyed. Great breakfast with cocoa for the kids. The owner Lolo (originally from France) is very welcoming and helpful, giving advice on what to see and do in the area. Losu is just a 5 minute walk from the beach and many restaurants. The area is not overcrowded by tourists and we absolutely loved the 4 nights we stayed.

“Lovely base in southern Sri Lanka”
The property is wonderful and Lolo has been a terrific host. Great recommendations for food, things to do, massage bookings and always extremely helpful. Polhena beach is great for snorkeling. Tuk tuks with Jagat to Weligama for surf lessons and swimming in the ocean. Felt like a loving home. If we come back we will definitely stay here again.

Everything was fantastic! We stayed at a beautiful LoSu in Sri Lanka that we can highly recommend. The staff were incredibly friendly, always available, and gave us lots of great local tips. Everything was very fresh, clean, modern, and felt brand new. The location is perfect—close to the beach for surfing, snorkeling, and lovely walks along the coast. Bonus: we were able to borrow fins, snorkel masks, and other equipment for free. It was also a real pleasure getting to know the French–Sri Lankan couple who run the place—warm, welcoming, and passionate hosts. We were super happy with our stay and would absolutely come back!

It is an amazing property managed by a French-Sri Lankan couple, they are very accommodating and friendly. Property is clean and well maintained. The bonus is the swimming pool, with a beautiful green backdrop.

“Fantastic stay at LoSu Polhena”
We had a wonderful time at LoSu Polhena. The room was spacious, clean and had a nice view on the pool, so a perfect place to come back to after a day out. The pool is large and well maintained, ideal for a refreshing dip or just to relax. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious, freshly prepared and generous breakfast, which was the perfect start to the day. The location is great: just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. What truly made our stay special was the warm hospitality of Lolo, the host. She is incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Thanks to her, our stay was an unforgettable experience. In short: a fantastic place to stay in Polhena. We would come back in a heartbeat!

“A great stay near the beach”
A beautiful hotel, near Polhena beach. Polhena beach is very suitable for swimming with childern. The pool of the hotel is a big plus and the owner is very helpfull.

“Safe , modern accommodation with big pool”
Wonderful newly built house , very comfortable, great large swimming pool to relax in , roof terrace to watch sunset . Great communication with owner/manager who can give you excellent tips on things to do /see/restaurants etc . All in all , we all loved it and will recommend the place to friends/family .

A very lovely villa just a short walk from the beach. It also has a nice small pool. What's especially great is that the pool has a separate shallow area for children, making it very safe. The hotel owner, a French lady, is very helpful and kind. She assisted us in arranging an airport taxi.

“Hospitable host, wonderful new homestay.”
Brand new building, very well maintained and everything spotless. The very hospitable French landlord Lolo made great efforts to help out with excursions, transports and so on. We didn’t meet her Sri Lankan husband, but the couple have been offering homestay for 8 years and they recently upgraded to a new house.
