I had a great stay at Caro and Chathus Guest house. It’s very cozy and beautifully furnished, you have everything you need. The breakfast was delicious!! They help you out with everything you need. I would for sure come again.

“A Very Special Place In The Most Amazing Location”

This is a fantastic little Guesthouse with a well stocked kitchen to use. From the nice open rooftop terrace you can enjoy the most beautiful Seaview just across the road. Very central location but very quit and peaceful. Less than 10 minutes walk away from hip Doctors House, restaurants, surf, beaches and live music venues. You can also order a delicious homemade breakfast created with love. The super friendly owners Caro & Chathu are very helpful and the most amazing people. I enjoyed my time in Just Another Guesthouse very much and will be back!

A cozy stay in a beautiful and peaceful location—Matara! The easy access to beach-facing, charming restaurants within walking distance made it even better. The friendly owners and their even friendlier pet dogs made our stay unforgettable. Overall, we fell in love with Matara.

Caro and Chathu have made a beautiful B&B in lovely Polhena. Super comfortable and spotless! Caro made the most amazing passionfruit pancakes for breakfast and they even got me a soursop when I mentioned I’d love to try it. Beautiful stuff allround! Thanks guys!

Very clean, comfy bed, lovely hosts. We didn’t have any problems staying here. Great location and it was really nice having a sea view from our room.

Everything! Wonderful hosts, they create such a warm and enjoyable energy. Good, clean rooms, lots of community space set out for relaxing and relating to each other. A very well equipped kitchen and a location by the sea. An enjoyable week even in poor weather.

The atmosphere in the guesthouse is unbeatable, you get a really warm welcome from the hosts Chathu and Caro (what a team!) and you immediately feel at home. The room completely met my expectations, was equipped as described and I could see and hear the ocean :-) From the shared balcony I saw the sun rise over the ocean in the morning, a dream! The lovely Caro prepared a wonderful vegan breakfast for me. This gave me strength for my return flight. Such a shame I couldn't stay longer!

The location is exceptional. The property is aesthetically appealing with its minimal yet captivating features. The hosts, Chathu and Caro were really friendly and kind. There is a kitchen which has everything you will need and you can cook a full meal if you want or just a cup of coffee. Rooms were clean and maintained. Great value for the price they are charging.

“Absolutely perfect on a budget”

We loved everything about our stay. It has a funky old school villa feel, the cold shower is all you need, the sound of the beach of a night, there’s no air con but the fans were enough for sleeping, and it was the first comfortable mattress I’ve slept on in the three weeks we’ve been in Sri Lanka. Breakfast on the balcony or on the little beachfront across the street (Caro cooked the most amazing healthy breakfast) was so delicious. We booked for one night and ended up staying for four. Chathu has a scooter organised and delivered to us before we had time to drop our bags. Caro and Chathu are so welcoming and such a sweet couple. Highly recommend.

Amazing stay! The space is really cozy and well decorated and the rooms were very clean and had a nice cool temperature. They also have a properly equipped kitchen which was really nice. They also have a little spot in front next to the sea where u can chill in a hammock or eat your breakfast with the rising sun! The hosts are kind and very helpfull. Definitely one of the best places to stay in the south in terms of price and quality!

We spend quite some time in Polhena/Madiha and @ justanotherguesthouse. And this is definitely the best place to stay. Even on the hottest days you can cool down at the balcony. There you get shadow plus the wind of the coast. Plus the beautiful view on ocean and palm trees. Any place of the accommodations has a super chilled atmosphere. It’s lovely furnished compared to what we experienced at other stays. Not too much not too less. The kitchen has all you need. The hammock on your own beach also a favourite place to hang around. The hosts are just more than lovely. And definitely able to help you out with anything u might want to know or to have.
