“Spacious modern apartment with amazing veiws”

Hosts were very welcoming and friendly and showed us round the apartment when we arrived.. We did get upgraded from the regular room to a full apartment which was obviously a lovely bonus to the holiday! Spacious, clean and very modern apartment and then had an incredible veiw from the balcony. Everything we needed for our stay was included, couldn't have asked for anything more 😊 It was also in a really good location, a quiet little town but did have a shop and restaurants too and near a beach too. We do like to walk so this was great for us as it was also close enough to walk to the national park and then roughly an hours walk if you want to go to the highest point on the island. When we were leaving I wanted to double check where to leave the key and again, the lady I spoke with was very helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here

“Quiet paradise”

Perfectly located on the shore of Polace on Mljet. Taxi from port (Pomena), cost €15. A small friendly village with ample restaurants and a grocery shop and bakers. The apartment was spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful bay. The National Park (NP)is 1/2 mile away and bikes/e-bikes are easy to rent to cycle around the Great Lake (€40 day for bikes, €25 pp to enter NP). The host allowed us to stay until our ferry off the island at 16.00 hrs. It made our last day even more wonderful.

Great location, beautiful view from the balcony and very spacious apartment. Has everything you need. Plenty of restaurants around and only a few min walk to the beach. Would definitely come back!

“Perfect stay in polace”

View was amazing the studio was compact but had everything we needed. Air conditioning worked great. Shower was great. It was very peaceful, not a lot going on in polace and most of the restaurants were fully booked and expensive but we found the little restaurant next door to the apartment was much more reasonable with Lovely food and owner couldn’t have been nicer, she even booked our taxi for us to take us to pomena. It was easy to hire bikes and cycle round the national park. There aren’t any sandy beaches but you can get into the water for a swim

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Apartments Matana Chano in Polače, Mljet! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The apartment was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal - at the waterfront and just a short walk from local attractions, yet peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always available to provide tips on the best places to visit and ensuring that I had everything I needed. The views from the apartment were stunning, and it really felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Mljet. It’s the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to the island!

Everything!!! Mljet is absolutely beautiful! The apartment met all our expectations, even more than we expected (for example, we did not expect two bathrooms). The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. The apartment is very, very clean and very spacious. The peace in Polače is incredible. The hosts are helpful and very kind and nice. All in all, both Mljet and the apartment are a place we can't wait to return to and will definitely come again next year! Thanks to the hosts :-)

The apartment was well equipped and spacious, the bed was comfy, it was all lovely and clean. The balcony was absolutely amazing with the most incredible view over the harbour. The owners were attentive and friendly too. All in all 10/10 apartment.

Apartment was absolutely great. We had a terras and amezing view. aspecialy the lounce oudside. There was a small kitchen with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and big. The village was small and quite, really good if you want to come at peace and take some rest on the vacation + national park is a must see and is walkable from the apartment. Our host was absolutely amazing, they where really nice and the communication was quick. Very friendly! We would totally recommend this apartment if you want to stay in mljet polace!

“Beautiful apartment, amazing views, quiet area, and close to park”

Well equipped and well designed modern apartment with a fantastic terrace and views. Perfect size for a couple, and area is super quiet in the night. Location is fantastic too, ~30 minutes walk from the National Park lakes and close to the NP information (/ticket) point, as well as the only supermarket in Polače and a few restaurants nearby.

The view was amazing, it was quiet and we could swim just in front of the house. The host is lovely as well! We had a great stay
