“While I have commented on the condition of the property its location is a big plus.”

The photos provided did not match reality; the overall condition of the property is poor. The property needs revamping and a good clean on the exterior including new guttering as water was pouring out the ends, and a roof clean to match the images. The heat pump in the lounge is well past its used by date, providing little cooling. Throughout the booking period, exceeding a year, I received numerous emails relating to this property, so many in fact I got rather tired of deleting them. Once should be able to make a booking, get approval, then not receive any further emails or messages until the details around accessing the property is presented.

Close to many attractions- central location. Spacious enough for the whole family, including adult children and partners, and Grandbaby.

The location was perfect, especially as we did not have a car, set in the vineyard with kangaroos and even a bonus concert on Saturday night at Roche Estate. Walk across to Brokewood Wines and a short stroll to Mereea Wines and a few places for coffee and the iHop stop. Other great highlights were having a bedroom each for the four of us, and the wood fireplace.

It was spacious and well set up. We had a nice alfresco barbecue.. Lovely setting.

Great location, close to everything we needed. There's two lounge area with a fireplace in the middle so plenty of room to spread out relax for everyone. Most important the beds are very comfortable. The fireplace heated the house so no need for the aircon in the lounge area. The place is a little outdated but has more room than most new homes and everything worked, and the place was very clean and well looked after.

The location was perfect for the weekend

You can't beat the space in the cottage, or the location to nearby attractions. While the house is not 'modern', it has everything a large group could want, especially if you have small children. The fireplace (with lots of wood supplies) will keep you toasty warm in winter. The kitchen has the lot, and there's plenty of beds/spaces to sleep.

Location is perfect to be central to most things in the Hunter. We were 2 mins from the gardens and general store, and maximum 15 mins from everything else we wanted including Cessnock. The house was huge and well looked after, we loved the layout and the rooms / beds were so comfy and big.

Lots of room. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds and a wood burning heater - and a bottle of shiraz !

The location was great. Dealing with the management company was wonderful. Jenni at Unwind was very good.

Great to have a run of the whole house, full kitchen and BBQ available, large house well equipped with bed and linen, so close to Roche Estate which was where the event was we were attending, so location could not have been better
