Constructed in 1997, Estate Tuscany is a family-owned boutique estate, situated on 26 acres in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region in Pokolbin. The 4-star property features panoramic mountain views of the Brokenback Ranges, 300 acres of vineyards, and is located in a tranquil bush land setting surrounded by Australian wildlife. Featuring Tuscan charm and Australian country style, Estate Tuscany provides guest house style accommodation with 2 eateries including the signature restaurant The Mill (awarded Chefs Hat 2020) and Brokenback Bar as well as five unique multipurpose event spaces to select from. Guest can enjoy wine tasting on-site at the Thomas Wine cellar door, which specialises in Hunter Valley Semillon and Shiraz and is located on the grounds of the estate. Pet-friendly rooms are available. Estate Tuscany is situated just 8.5 km from the shops, cafes and restaurants of Pokolbin town centre.

Beautiful views

The location and views were gorgeous, there is a private verandah to have a coffee and enjoy the views (although the seats were rusty so we sat on the stone instead). Staff were all very friendly Nice gardens Restaurant and bar looked well maintained Easy parking

The website needs to be updated to reflect a truthful picture of the property - it's not 4 stars

Location is great, when the Mill restaurant is open it's also a lovely feed but when we checked in on Friday night it wasn't open despite it being opening hours. Walking over to Four Pines is easy enough Quiet rooms, you'll see kangaroos at dusk

Booking.com is a joke

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the way my recent refund request was handled through Booking.com. I booked accommodation through Booking.com for a family event and an early Mother’s Day getaway for myself, my mother, and my 9-year-old daughter. The property was advertised as charming and well-presented. While we understood it may have been an older property, we believed this was simply part of its character. Unfortunately, upon arrival, it became immediately clear that the accommodation was in an unacceptable condition. The property was extremely run-down, with a strong smell of mould and mildew throughout. There were cracks in the walls and ceilings, damaged furnishings, and even holes in the bed sheets. We raised our concerns directly with the property multiple times during our stay; however, it became obvious that the issues were not isolated to our room, but reflected the poor condition of the entire property. I then contacted Booking.com customer support and was advised that a full refund would be issued once the property confirmed approval. The property agreed to the refund request on 1 May. What should have been a straightforward process then became weeks of unnecessary stress, poor communication, and contradictory information. After waiting over a week with no updates, I contacted Booking.com again, only to be told they were waiting on responses from the property. When I contacted the property directly, they stated the opposite — that they were waiting on Booking.com. I spent hours going back and forth between both parties trying to obtain clear information or progress on the refund. Eventually, after I personally continued following up and requesting action, the property once again confirmed in writing that they approved the refund. Booking.com then advised me that the refund had been processed. However, no confirmation email was sent, nothing changed within the app, and no communication was provided.

Overall was a good stay, could have been better.

Aircon was working, the bathroom had good ventilation and heating lights. They gave us a complimentary snack and water, which is highly appreciated. Spacious property with an outdoor seating. All appliances were in working condition (except the Wifi). As you cannot do much in Hunter Valley post 5pm, we were bored in the room with no wifi or much cellular service.

Brilliant and great value
