The cottage was cozy and very clean . Ample car spaces to park in front of your cottage door . We loved using the log fireplace and having a fully equipped kitchen . We received a complimentary bottle of local wine and our hosts stocked our fridge with fresh eggs, milk, juice , a loaf of bread and home made muffins . The view of the vineyards and mountain range was beautiful .

Despite facing some challenges to our weekend stay caused by a car break-down we had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Ken and Susie were such kind, thoughtful and generous hosts and the cottage we stayed in was cozy, tasteful and spacious. Lots of attention to detail, including putting on the heater to warm the room up, checking in to see if we’d managed to organise a tow truck, a beautiful bottle of wine and breakfast supplies, a bonus bottle of wine and gift for my husband’s birthday, which helped turn what could have been a pretty disastrous and disappointing weekend into something wonderful and memorable. A truly beautiful and relaxing stay - We’ll be back (minus the car breakdown!).

Amazing location surrounded by vineyards. Very peaceful and quiet but still good access to Pokolbin and the wineries etc. The place was great, clean, well stocked, and also a good breakfast. The hosts were lovely and it's also nice to support the little guy rather than one of the big companies in Hunter Valley

“Berenbell Vineyard Retreat”

Thanks for hosting us! Berenbell was in a central spot to the things we wanted to do but was lovely and quiet, with some great views across to some vineyards and the great dividing range. We loved the continental breakfast provided, it was a nice surprise! And I really enjoyed playing with Ginger the retreats' friendly dog

“Stunning mountain view and perfect privacy for couples weekend away.”

The property was a perfect little cottage tucked away with the right amount of privacy for a couples weekend away. The view of the Hunter Valley Mountain just outside the cottage was an awesome sight to wake up to as we sipped our juice, ate our muffins and finished our breakfast (which was all supplied).

I truly enjoyed staying at this small, beautiful house. The vintage, old-fashioned style is absolutely charming. it’s exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere feels warm and cozy, perfect for slowing down and relaxing. Waking up to the sunrise over the wide, open farm view was magical. We loved spending quiet, peaceful mornings there together, it was a truly special place to stay.
