I stayed here for a few days and it was lovely. Great if you want peace and quiet. The family are nice. We ate dhal bhat at 6pm then there wasn't much going on after that. A few nice places to walk to in the daytime. WiFi was good.

Exploring jungle next to the beautiful lake with the mountain/ jungle and lake view. Truly amazing place. Full of fauna and flora. You can see full range of butterflies, birds, lizards, also monkeys … This place is full of a good vibe. The owners Darmodar, Sumitra and their son Sujan were super lovely. Provided delicious food cooked mostly of ingredients from their organic garden. They were also very helpful with arranging trips, hiking, vippassana, taxi or jeep) Whatever you ask for. The accomodation is basic but provides everything what you need. Internet connection is very good here 👍 Everyday there was something what made me smile and gave me good relax and feeling like home I always wanted to have. I felt here safe and happy, so I prolonged my stay here from 5 nights, up to 10. There is also possibility to wash your clothes in washing machine and get hot water or fresh mint/ginger tea for friendly price.

A great experience shouldn’t be too expensive! I visited this guesthouse with my fiancée last month. We earned so many heartwarming memories from this peaceful land during our stay. A fantastic evade right into the arms of nature, “Rupa View Guesthouse” blankets excellent rooms covered by forest. The windows are open to some of the breathtaking views of the mighty, snowy Himalayas and Rupa valley, just like those classic postcards. The jungle-covered guesthouse is peaceful and is ideal for birding and butterfly watching at dawn and in the evening. I found this property caters perfectly to the needs of those who seek to get away from city life and experience sheer tranquillity. Another best part that I want to mention is the hospitality and food. The guesthouse owner, Mr Damodar Bhakta Thapa, was always there to cater to our requests, and his wonderful wife prepared traditional Nepali food for us. Moreover, It was a very affordable stay, and the experience was brilliant! We will certainly go back again! Recommended!

Beautiful location atop a hill surrounded by nature with a view of Rupa Lake. Fantastic wildlife, you could spend all day spotting butterflies. The room was a good size and comfortable. Basic but absolutely delicious organic Nepalese meals available. Most food is grown in their surrounding gardens. The host family are absolutely lovely and accomodating. Begnas lake is lovely and great for a swim. Rupa Lake is nearby, you can hike down to the water's edge which is peaceful and beautiful.
