“One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at, absolute gem in Pokhara”

This Pokhara backpackers hostel is easily one of the best hostels I’ve ever experienced. It’s incredibly clean and well organized, with a spacious shared room, good personal space, and strong air conditioning. The shared bathroom is inside the room and spotless , a rare find! From the moment I arrived, it truly felt like home. The staff are the nicest and most supportive I’ve met, friendly, helpful, and they quickly became close friends. The other travelers here are also the kind of people you stay in touch with forever. I was lucky enough to have the staff advise me to extend my one-day stay to at least five days 😂 – and guess what? It became my home base for my entire time in Pokhara. Highly recommend!

Pokhara Backpackers is an excellent place to stay and one of the best hostels I have experienced. The location is great, making it easy to explore Pokhara and enjoy everything the city has to offer. The rooms are extremely clean, the washrooms are well maintained, and the overall atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. The breakfast is awesome and a perfect way to start the day. What truly makes this place special is the amazing vibe and the friendly, helpful people who create a warm and enjoyable environment for travelers. Everything about my stay was superb—from the cleanliness to the hospitality. I would absolutely love to stay at Pokhara Backpackers again whenever I return to Pokhara. Highly recommended!

Location

Spacious rooms with a/c and a solid ceiling fan. Each floor has its own terrace, well shaded on a hot afternoon with a happy hour beer in hand, was sheer bliss. Wonderful, helpful staff.

I was a lone traveling 50ish old man and did not expect a hostel to be any good for me. I was wrong staff were great and I got a private room that was very comply. Even got a game of pool with one of the staff and he even let me beat him 😜

“My favourite place in Pokhara”

I used this place as a ‘home base’, coming and going between treks and another activities during my time in Pokhara. Each time, there was nowhere else I wanted to stay. The vibe is fantastic, the breakfast is delicious, and the guys and girls on staff are the kindest, friendliest, most helpful people. This place made my stay in Nepal extra special. Honestly.

Amazing double room, great bar for food and drinks

Great place to stay! Spend a few weeks here 3,5 years ago and stayed another week now. Some of the staff even recognised me from before. The staff is kind and helpful :) Both the bunks as the private rooms are comfortable and fairly priced. Breakfast is included. They also have coffees and other (local/Western) lunch/dinner options available for not too much money. They organise all kinds of activities during the week and have a nice common space. It is a good place to stay to discover Pokhara and rest between treks.
