Karuna has such a lovely vibe and Kelly and her team really go out of their way to make everyone welcome and comfortable. I have stayed here many times and it never disappoints. Loved the addition of the afternoon happy hours with the street food tastings. Breakfast buffets are great and location means it's an easy walk to the lakeside.

Delightful oases in Lakeside, Pokhara. Absolutely love this hotel. Amazing friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful, clean rooms and hot shower. Mindful about an environment friendly and organic approach.Breakfast both nepalese and international. I enjoyed their organic coffee very very much. Perfect stay before and after your trek. Near Fewa Lake but just outside the noise, this hotel offers a peaceful and relaxing environment and makes you want to comeback.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Karuna. The common areas and rooms are beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The hotel is eco-friendly and provides homemade soap bars to reduce excess packaging. We really loved their soap. The welcome and service from the staff are excellent. We also loved the included breakfasts — by far the best we had in Nepal. The 4 to 6 street food concept is just as fantastic. Finally, the kids really enjoyed the games available in the lobby. We spent a lot of time there and will keep very fond memories of it.

“Warm Hospitality and Comfortable Stay at Hotel Karuna”

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Karuna and would highly recommend it. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and happy to answer any questions. They provided useful local tips and accommodated all my requests, which made my stay very smooth and enjoyable. The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, and I really appreciated the constant availability of free drinking water. The location is also great — just a short walk from the lake and the main street with plenty of restaurants and bars. A couple of things to note: there is no lift, but the staff kindly helped with my luggage, and laundry service is available for a small fee. Breakfast options were decent.

We had a great time at this hotel. Our highlights was the amazing coffee & breakfast and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooftop was also beautiful with yoga mat!

We spent three nights there during our stay at Pokhara. The room was very clean and staff were super friendly and supportive. They have a happy hour from 4-6 pm with local snacks and we enjoyed it too. Well worth for the money. Above all the hotel follows eco-friendly policy. I like it that they don’t provide plastic bottles instead have water dispensers at central locations in each floor and a glass jug and mugs in each room. No toiletries are provided except for a bar of soap, which I think is ok. Nice ambient and nice people 😊

Room amenities, breakfast choice, good WiFi throughout, convenient situation close to Lakeside shops and restaurants but in a quieter side road, staff were friendly and helpful..

Perfect stay at Hotel Karuna. Loved the proximity to the lakeside and hotel staff are wonderful and friendly people. Would recommend to anyone visiting pokhara.

“Great value for money, some feedback given”

On first impression, I was blown away. Beautiful foyer, felt very warm. Well organised, looked boutique. And the staff were super professional, neat and well presented. The check in process was smooth. I was a little surprised not to see a lift, but that's fine. My room was spotlessly clean, loved the eco vibe with the soap and my bed very comfy. Again the presentation at the breakfast was amazing. Seemed really high end, which was confusing as I'd pay £23 a night and stayed in quite a few others at the price point. It felt like alot of attention to detail is being taken throughout the hotel. Thanks for a great stay.

“Hidden gem in Pokhara”

Such a gem of a hotel. Great location within 5 minutes walking distance of the main strip. Excellent buffet breakfast with good coffee & a wide range of tasty food. The room was spacious with an excellent hot shower. Best one we've had in two weeks (especially after our trek). Friendly staff & I love how they're trying to the right thing for the environment by providing soap/shampoo bars & their recycling bins.

Nice breakfast with a lot of local options. Room was nice but the bathroom need a renovation, the toilet was not flashing properly. Stuff was friendly.
