You would stay here for the view of the mountains…no other reason. Dinner and breakfast were good. The property although aged was spotlessly clean. The sunrise over the mountains was spectacular from the viewing area on the roof.

Excellent service, great views and very clean. My room was very comfortable. Unfortunately I fell very ill in the night and the next morning I was due to check out but the hotel manager and staff were very caring and kind. They insisted I stayed and rested, sent up some fluids and relevant hydration meds. They did not rush me or make me feel awkward. They did not charge me anything extra and helped arrange transport to my next destination.

The views are incredible - from our room and from the Earth Lounge on the 6th floor. Getting up for sunrise to see the mountains unveiled will be a memory that lasts a lifetime. The swimming pool was super refreshing, the food and service in the breakfast was great too!

Everything was perfect. The room was spacious, with an amazing view of Annapurna. We felt very lucky because, during our stay, the mountains were visible. The tour guide and hotel staff told us that the view had been covered by clouds for the past 10 days. From our first morning until our third day, the mountains looked absolutely beautiful. Carol at the front desk and the other staff member were very attentive and helpful. All the hotel staff were friendly and provided excellent customer service. We loved our stay and will recommend this hotel to our friends. The hotel also has a perfect viewing spot on the sixth level for sunrise and sunset, so there is no need to go to Poon Hill if you want a great sunrise view.

Location, view and just about everything

The sixth floor has open air platforms for sunrise and sunset views over the Annapurna range which is amazing when the weather is playing nice with clear visibility. It tends to be better in the early morning but depending on the season one can face clouds and haze obscuring the mountains. Members of staff were genuinely concerned for my girlfriends well-being after she reported falling ill. They can arrange vehicles to take you to the places of interest such as Lakeside and Sarangkot via the Annapurna cable car. Expect to pay 2,500 rupees for airport transfer and 1,500 for a vehicle down to Lakeside which is where you’ll find the main tourist drag.

Clean and fantastic view of mountain. My only complain is my room can be seen by my neighbour on his balcony. We get mountain view for seeing the view, not closing the curtains. They should do something about that

“Excellent views with great staff”

As advertised, this hotel has amazing views of the Anna Purna mountain range. We loved sitting in our room in front of the floor to ceiling windows having a cup of tea and enjoying the views. The room was very comfortable, excellent shower and quite spacious. The restaurant here served really good food and the manager was always very attentive and welcoming. A special mention to some of the staff, Bikram, Chandan & Apsara, similar to the manager they were very attentive, helpful and always had a smile. We made use of the daily 11am shuttle into town which was always punctual with a lovely driver. There is a gym with enough equipment to work out on the top floor along with outside seating on the same floor. We even extended our stay from 5 to 6 nights because we loved it so much and would highly recommend.

Located in Pokhara, it offers a superb vantage point for overlooking the Himalayan range.The restaurant at HIMALAYAN FRONT HOTEL is absolutely a surprise—enjoying authentic Nepali cuisine while overlooking the continuous snow-capped mountains is a perfect experience. The service is warm and attentive, with staff always smiling. The staff patiently answer any questions you have. Although the hotel is showing its age a bit，the facilities are clean, with dry and comfortable bedding.
