It's a beautiful place with a pleasant garden 🌿 If you have the chance, you can see the Himalayas during your breakfast or during the day. It's magic. The pancakes are very good 😊 Dinesh and his family are kind and welcoming !

“Peaceful and full of nature!”

A peaceful family home nestled in nature on the hills above Begnas Lake. I had had a couple of days in Pokhara (Lakeside) and I found this place was a lovely antidote to the noise and busyness - sitting in the garden surrounded by birdsong and greenery! Dinesh and his whole family were kind and caring hosts, offering advice on little walks and cooking delicious food. One afternoon, Dinesh’s grandmother joined me in the garden to show me her family photo albums of past times and trips. I will look back on my time spent here fondly. I am planning to return.

Dinesh family was so welcoming. First I booked for 4 days and stayed almost a month. Also the view and location of the house is perfect.

Dinesh, Dipa and family are the best! You won’t find a nicer, more relaxing place to stay in all of Nepal. The views are fantastic, the food is delicious and the nearby walks are sublime.

“Healing place with a beautiful view”

I absolutely loved it here. In my opinion, you won't find better apartments with a mountain view, as the house is situated at the highest point of the hill, offering an unobstructed view of both the mountains and the valley. My apartment had everything I needed, was very spacious and bright, with a stunning view, far from the noise and dust of the roads. In the morning, you'll wake up to the sun and the songs of various birds—birdwatchers will truly appreciate this spot. Dinesh and his family are incredibly friendly and always willing to help with any questions. I'll never forget the omelets and coffee in the morning—any meal you order will be as organic and natural as possible from Dinesh's garden. I wish this home prosperity and hope to return again.

Is a very simple, yet cozy and very clean. Dinesh and his family really take care of everything. The place and the view are beautiful. The garden is also very well maintained and always well organized. Same as the room. It's perfect if you want to take a break from the city. The breakfast provided was a plus! “Amazing place, everything was perfect! Hope to visit again”

Everything was honestly perfect! The room was really comfy and sweet, we got a little hut to ourselves with well functioning WC and wifi, comfy bed, fan etc. The property has a beautiful peaceful garden where we spent a lot of time - gorgeous views of the lakes and huge mountains. And the host family were amazing! Super lovely, welcoming and helpful, their sweet cat is adorable and the dinners they made for us were delicious ! We had an amazing time, plus the surrounding location is incredible.

The place was in a peaceful location. Our bedroom was spacious and had nice furniture. We had some interesting chats with the other guests which made the experience.

The view of the Himalayan mountain was excellent. The host family were very helpful and hospitable. The nature and Bengas Lake were also beautiful.

Nice and quiet location, if you wish to stay in a local village with nature and hiking, then this is your place. Dinesh and his family will help you with everything. I would stay in the deluxe double room upstairs with a private bathroom, that is super nice and it also has softer beds than the budget room.

“AMAZING Homestay! Quiet beautiful location in the nature”

10/10 Homestay! Nestled in such a beautiful garden, the nature is honestly incredible (amazing view of the lake and mountains, colourful birds and butterflies, waking up everyday to the birds and insects singing). Place is a 5 min walk from a cute quaint village that has loads of goats, and a 1h walk through a forest trail to Begnas lake. The family are so kind, and Dipa she cooks the best banana pancakes and omelet for breakfast! As well as the Dal Bhat they serve for dinner (all fresh ingredients from their garden). I stayed in the mud house room which is simple but honestly so cute I loved it.

Dinesh and his family are so welcoming and friendly. The place is like a little paradise right on top of the hill with amazing views of the mountains and lake. 100% recommend!!

“Wonderful hosts on a peaceful spot with delicious food”

My stay at Dinesh was better than I could have wished for. Dinesh and Deepa are wonderful hosts that made me feel so welcome and their place is simple, but very peaceful. The food was exceptional: the breakfast delish and the Dal Bats were sincerely speaking the best I've had in two months in Nepal.

“Magnificent paradise...”

It's my 3rd time I stay for a longer period at Dinesh House. It feels like having a family. No resort or big hotel can replace the warmth and experience of living with the family. There are rooms for every budget. The dal bhat is one of the best you will have. As well as the pancakes. I recommend definitely the hike with Dinesh. But also the cooking class with Dipa. If you are looking for true Nepali experience then don't hesitate to stay there.
