Marie was a fabulous host, and the room was great. The breakfast was delicious with homemade jam for a treat. Easy walk to the old city for a look around loaded with maps and advice from Marie. Would highly recommend it.

Property was beautiful French and very well maintained . If it hadn’t been raining there was a small garden seating area that looked lovely to share a drink or two. Hostess was very helpful and told us about the city of which we had a brilliant day exploring.

I had a wonderful stay at Les Trois Fontaines. The breakfast was delicious, home-made by the wonderful hostess, Marie. She went out of her way to make me feel at home, and kindly showed me areas to visit in the city, recommending restaurants and historic sites. The room was excellent, furnished with a simple rustic elegance and charm, equipped with everything I needed, and the bed was very comfortable. I would love to return for another stay sometime. It's also situated not far from the city centre, being only about 15-20mins walk. Highly recommended!

“Amazing accommodation with the best service”

Upon arrival we were welcomed by the lovely and kind host Marie. She showed us everything around the house and helped us with anything we needed. Our room was located on the second floor of the charming old house. We had our private bathroom opposite the room. The bathroom was modern, big, very clean, and the shower was really nice. The room was also clean, the bed was comfortable to sleep, and we didn't hear any noises from the street. The kitchen is shared with other guests (it's just 3 rooms in total), it's very well equipped and there's also a big dining area and a shelf with different books, games and flyers. Just outside the kitchen there's a very big backyard with a beautiful and peaceful garden to enjoy. On the entrance to the house you can sit and relax in a little lounge area. The city center of Poitiers and the train station can both be reached on foot, but if you don't like walking, there's also a bus station very close. For breakfast we had croissants, coffee and milk, tea, orange juice, butter and homemade jams (pear, and fig - both so delicious), homemade yoghurt (we mixed it with jam), bread... and Marie made sure we don't leave hungry. It was very, very tasty. We were more than satisfied for choosing such a nice accommodation with amazing service for our second (last) night in Poitiers. We only regret not booking this accommodation also for the first night when we arrived to town. If we ever come back, we'll make sure to book this accommodation. We highly recommend booking your stay here, you definitely won't regret it.

“A delightful stopover.”

A lovely house. The owner was very welcoming and spoke English. There is a shared kitchen downstairs that works well. Breakfast was a treat served in the courtyard garden by the owner who took alot of trouble. Later she showed us around her lovely garden.

Marie was a truly great host and couldn't do enough to make sure we were comfortable. She ran us into city centre when she realised my husband had a difficulty walking far. She was a gem.

Received a warm welcome from Marie and her husband who were most helpful thoughout my stay. My bicycle was safely stored at the property and is ideal if travelling by bicycle. There is parking outside the property which is situated near the river and from there its a nice walk up into the centre of Poitiers. Breakfast was excellent and you have full use of the kitchen and its facilities.

The room was very dark and could not see to apply makeup. or much of anything else to be honest. The bathroom was out of the bedroom and across the main staircase which we thought was dangerous during the night.

The host is a very nice lady, who gave us helpful advice about the town, places to visit, where to eat. The breakfast was very good, with nice bakery, special honey, special jams, good coffee. The room was clean and quiet. Location is good, at 19 minutes walk to the center. We had free parking just near the property. The house has a nice garden, where you can have your breakfast, if the weather allows it.
