Everything was just perfect. We were made to feel very welcome by Philippe , with a guide to Poitiers and restaurant recommendations . Very comfortable room , the best breakfast we have had in a long time. Then Philippe gave us a guided tour of the gardens and the amazing cliff dwelling in the rear garden.

The property had a lot of character and was beautifully restored. The host was very welcoming and the breakfast was exceptional with home made yoghurt and jams and locally sourced produce. The additional guest sitting room with kitchen area and television was an added bonus. Everywhere was very clean with an emphasis on sustainability. I had a lovely view from my room.

Friendly, comfortable and stylishly presented. Pleasantly situated overlooking the river, and a relatively easy walk to and from the centre of Poitiers, which proved to be a very attractive and interesting city. We certainly hope to return at some time.

Wonderfully quiet location. We had a beautiful room, exceptionally clean, and an extremely comfortable bed. It was very easy to walk into Poitier for dinner, and Philippe’s recommendations are excellent. Breakfast was delicious, with a lot of care having gone into each delightful element. Welcome and accomodation was excellent. Phillipe was a magnificent host, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean and well furnished and resourced. The breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had in France - which is no mean feat!

Everything was amazing! We received a warm welcome on arrival and were given a tour of the property. The room was well equipped and comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. We cannot find fault! The weather was perfect and we were able to eat breakfast in the garden in the morning. Everything was freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The attention to detail was first class. We would definitely recommend this beautiful B&B!
