“This is the best gem in Spain”

Clean, improved, tastefully decorated, fantastic amenities: mini fridge, coffee machine and fan in the room. Bath is lovely. The windows are new. It’s quite soundproofed. The views are wonderful. There is a microwave in the common room on the second floor! Also the attention to detail is just outstanding. The breakfast area is brilliant, there’s loads of sitting in the sun or shade, whatever you prefer, the breakfast itself is great. The staff are my favourite staff from everywhere I have ever stayed at and I have so much love for them all, they treated us and especially my child with such care, I am so grateful to have found this lovely place. I have stayed here twice and I will keep coming back every year. The location is lovely as well, good for small children - safe beach with shallow water, not loads of people around this time of year. There is diving, hiking, fishing, swimming, eating and relaxing to do. I highly recommend this place as it’s definitely a hidden gem. Oh! And you can see dolphins! Thank you so much Hotel Marea, for another fantastic stay. I’ll see you all soon :)

Super welcoming place, in front of the ria. They owner moved her car to make space for mine: much appreciated. And the restaurant is also pretty good.

Susana and her staff were hugely helpful and considerate. Lots of tips and pointers. What a great spot for exploring.

The staff were super helpful! Offered support when I misplaced a passport and also helped me find a taxi when needed. Beautiful location, right on the beach! Firm bed, lush down type blankets and lots of pillows. Would definitely stay again.

Incredible location, very very good restaurant under the hotel, but not noisy. Friendly staff, very clean.

Susana was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed during our breakfast and cleaning the rooms. The hotel is just overlooking the ocean and very close to the sea and a couple of restaurants (the one under the hotel is very good).

It was quite a last minute booking at the Hotel Marea, but in the end it was one of the best of our trip to Galicia, if not the best. The Hotel is right by the sea, near a small beach, in a very quiet and beautiful environment. Our room was big, perfectly clean, everything was fine and new, the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. The check in was very easy and quick, the staff were very friendly (as always in Galicia). We could easily park the car on the road by the sea free of charge.
