The staff were very friendly & helpful. The boat cruise was very good. Learnt so much about the wildlife, plants & waterways! Geoffrey was a very good tour guide. The pool was awesome! Dinner was really good. Never had barramundi cooked so well. A peaceful & enjoyable stay. We loved it!

Breakfast was full or continental breakfast. We had one of each and it was delicious and had to be ordered the night before. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. We did the 2 hour safari and it was incredible. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and very funny. All the staff were fantastic. We had a great time and would recommend.

I really like the atmosphere and the location.

Exceedingly friendly staff, comfortable clean rooms. Excellent value for money. Decently decked out camp kitchen. Great value tours with a knowledgeable, friendly tour staff. Ground staff friendly, pool large enough and perfect temp even fir mid winter, Met many new people shared lots of great stories. Ate many exceptional meals at the saloon!! We'll be back!

Amazing location Super peaceful very sorry we didn't have enough time to stay longer. Super well maintained Great food at the restaurant! We advise the Fresh barramundi grilled served with a demicious salad and a good dessert! The swimming pool is big too! I stayed in the tents qnd the kitchen zqs Super well equipped too!

We brought our own breakfast and lunches (but struggled a bit to find a place to have these eg no toaster in one of the kitchen huts). The highlight was the wetlands tour with an excellent guide.

“Great stay with fabulous boat hire.”

Nice spacious room with outdoor seating. Lovely rainforest walk, good sunset aspect. Great location away from other tourist places. The boat hire on the Mary River was fantastic, saw lots of birds & some crocodiles.

Couldn't find the place. 2 unsealed roads going different direction & no resort signsge at that point. Stayed at Bark Hut instead..

I am not a bean fan so I didnt eat the beans. The poached egg was a little solid. The bacon superb.

“Great place, great tours, great food at a great price!”

The whole site was well organised with great facilities while still feeling like you were in the bush. The Sunset Safari was great. Elliot was full of great information and went out of his way to give us a close up experience with water buffalo. The staff were all very helpful and the food was great, especially the cooked breakfast. There were walking tracks from the site and animals to see. They run there own tours at a much more reasonable price than in the National Park and their accommodation prices are much more affordable.

Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge is quite basic. It was a former cattle station and has been converted. It has a basic facilities with a bistro and bar and served breakfast, packed lunch and evening meals. Good pool, though watch for the vicious mosquitos! Great location for exploring Mary River.

The spacious room, verandahs to relax on, good bathroom, beautiful swimming pool, laundry facilities, the wilderness location, early check-in was possible and helped us a lot...

Pool, saloon, dinner, drinks, lunch. Walk was ok. Saloon reception lady welcoming.
