“It was ok but it wasn’t for me”

The host was very limited in speaking and understanding English, so made communication really difficult. Our reception was not fantastic, it was my daughter and I and my daughter was very anxious. We were taken straight to our room...which was not the queen size suite we booked. The doors had pieces of paper stuck to the outside with hand written numbers on it. Our room mentioned seaside land views and our window faced a brickwall...wetlands could barely be seen from out the front of the house in the middle of the road. Our bed was barely double size and hard as a rock. Our room locked from the inside, but could be unlocked with a key from the outside and we weren't allowed to have the key, even when we went out, the reason we were given was because we only stayed one night. So when we went out we had to trust that our room wouldn't be entered with the key. We were not shown any other part of the house except bathroom and toilet and were told not to open any other doors. The house had not a lot of other furniture. Don't be fooled the owner does indeed own a cat that lives inside and we wondered if was allowed in the rooms as whilst in bed we constantly itching felt as though we were being bitten. The neighbours played really loud music for half of the night and their dog barked constantly AAAALLLL night. Overall it was a terrible experience.
