It is a beautiful place, overlooking Tuscan hills. Travel by car is convenient. Room was clean and the staff very helpful. I do highly recommend staying there.

The location up in the hills was lovely, and the views from the pool and the property are amazing. Very peaceful, if you're looking for a quiet place to spend a few days it's perfect and the pool is an added bonus! Lovely owners and staff.

We loved the beautiful surroundings, sunset near the swimming pool, and walking in the garden. On the floor there are two fridge for the guests.

Very beautiful area with typical Tuscan atmosphere around the Villa. Breakfast was great, with a lot of choices and delicious local cold cuts.

“A place to experience charming Tuscany countryside”

By nice Tuscany nature surrounded a stone country house + appendixes in a pleasant garden, to which you get on a cypruss tree-lined non-tarmac road, which is great as the place keeps its charm and authenticity. The highway is not far but you donť hear it. By the way, just a little bit way up the road, you disccover a small romanesque church and a keep. The single room was nicely furnished and there were two comfortable armchairs on the first floor to relax by the window on a rainy day. Guests have also two common fridges at their disposal. You can borrrow books not only in Italian. The breakfast is nice, including cakes, warm croissants, choice of cheeses, prosciutto, salami, eggs, fruit, home jams, juice and a good cappuccino on a request. You can eat in the nearby Poggibonsi, which is the starting point for San Gimignano - there is a good bus connection. You can go on train/bus to Florence or Siena from here. The walking distance between Tenuta Il Tresto and the railway station is 3km, so for those used to walking, not a problem. I do recommend this place to those who want to shed off the tourist crowd and enjoy the countryside, while being able to reach historical places. A very nice medieval town of Certaldo is just within some 15minutes ride on the train.

We checked in late and they helped us over the phone and then came to check that we had got in ok. The room was so clean and tidy and cozy and the Tuscan hills were fabulous to look at through the window. View from the pool was spectacular and it was just so pleasant. We could not have asked for more and can't wait to return in the future.

What a wonderful stay! The location is absolutely stunning, pearched in the beautiful Tuscan hills and strategic to reach both Florence and Siena in 30 minutes. The staff is very accommodating and everything was perfect! Highly recommend it.
