Located in the western part of the Chianti area, Hotel Villa San Giorgio is surrounded by beautiful vineyards and overlooks the Elsa Valley. The property offers an outdoor swimming pool, free parking, and free Wi-Fi. The elegant, air-conditioned rooms are furnished in Tuscan Arte Povera style, with terracotta floors and chestnut wood beams on the ceilings. Rooms are set in a 20th-century country cottage, or in the annex building. The restaurant of Villa San Giorgio serves classic Italian cuisine. Breakfast is buffet style. During summer a light lunch is prepared on the pool. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from Poggibonsi. The friendly staff can assist you with tourist and travel information.

“Nice view overlooking the vineyard”
The scenery from our window was stunning. The swimming pool was great. And staff are super nice. The hotel is away from main road, but that’s why we like it so it’s quiet and we are close to nature.

“Charming Hotel in a Perfect Location”
We recently stayed at Hotel Villa San Giorgio and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic – rustic and peaceful, yet perfectly placed for exploring both Siena and Florence. We hired a car which made travelling around very easy. Our stay was on a bed and breakfast basis. The room was spotless and comfortable. While some of the furniture felt a little dated, the bathroom was modern and very clean, which made for a pleasant stay. The pool was a real highlight – well kept and ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The restaurant was excellent too. The food was delicious, and the truffle risotto in particular was outstanding. The staff were also very accommodating with our children’s food requests and prepared a simple but tasty tomato pasta that they really enjoyed. Overall, Villa San Giorgio is a beautiful, welcoming hotel in a superb location with excellent food and a lovely pool. We would happily return.

“Very overpriced for a run down room”
Our room was very big, but not the modern room as in the pictures. Breakfast was quite nice with lots of options. The staff were friendly and we had dinner there one night which was nice
