Situated 10 km from Split in Podstrana, Villa Mario is only a few metres from the pebble beach and features a large, summer terrace where guests can enjoy their meals. The air-conditioned rooms provide minibars, safes and satellite TV. The balconies offer sea views. Parasols and sun loungers are provided on the beach. The terrace is covered in greenery, which creates a cool, relaxing ambience in summer. Villa Mario is a good starting point to visit Split with the famous antique Diocletian's Palace or go rafting on Cetina River, 12 km away. The local bus arrives within a 25-minute ride in Split.

Good location, a little away from the city crowd, not too far from split city center and airport if you have a car. good parking space. Great villa, clean-cozy rooms, friendly, kind staff. Owner is very nice. good food. everything was just perfect.

The property was excellent, clean and the room spacious, they also have a restaurant where you can have dinner near the sea. A lot of parking spots available. What made the difference though was the lovely staff, very helpful and extra friendly.

Our bungalow had an amazing view at the sea. The beach is at your feet and the sunbeds are free to use for the residents of the hotel. The parking is also free.

“Wonderful location, views, dining and people.”
Perfect location. Right on the beach and good local bus service. Mario and others were so helpful and sincere. Although the room I booked said there were coffee making facilities, there weren’t but Mario provided me with a kettle and cup and spoon in no time at all. Also very accommodating with an early breakfast when I had to leave for a boat trip.

Very good location, close to Split, Makarska and all the beaches. Plenty of restaurants around by walking distance. The beach is just few steps (literally 1 min) outside the villa which is great. Plenty of sunbeds (free).

The view is superb. Beautiful location. I really enjoyed our stay. Staff are very friendly. We were treated with kidness. Pictures do not show how beautiful it is. Pizza is the best. O and breakfast was delicious, best omelet I ever had. Thank you

This is our 2nd time in this hotel, which is located right on the very nice beach. Room was nice, with 2 big comfortable beds, big balcony with nice sea view. Breakfast doesn't have big selection, but very tasty. Food in hotel's restaurant is very good, not cheap though.

It is a small hotel next to the beach. There you find a restaurant as well. It is a perfect match for relaxing holidays. Wonderful view through the balcony. Beds were comfortable. They clean room and change towels every day. Staff was helpful. Hotel guests are allowed to use sunbeds and umbrellas for free. Kids can buy ice-cream during all the day. The area is quite crowdy during day. There are some parking places dedicated to the hotel guests. If you want to take a bus to Split, there is a bus stop only 3 min walking from the hotel.
