Le Méridien Lav is the only five star resort in Split. Located in Podstrana, 8 km south of Split, it has a 800-metre long beach line, landscaped gardens and it overlooks the city and the surrounding islands. A combination of 6 restaurants and bars in the resort and along the Marina Promenade allows guests to experience a variety of cuisines. I've been to Le Méridien Lav twice now, year after year, and that's probably the best recommendation. You can see the property isn't brand new and shows its age a bit, but it doesn't matter at all because it's perfectly maintained. Everything works as it should, the attention to detail is visible everywhere. Overall, it's top.. The biggest plus worth mentioning is the breakfast. It's simply amazing! Great quality and a huge selection.

“Wonderful two day getaway full of relaxation and great service”
We had a wonderful and spacious room with a beautiful sea view of the marina and nearby islands. Breakfast was great, offering a wide variety of choices. We particularly enjoyed the omelette bar where fresh omelets were made to order. Parking was easy and affordable compared to other destinations we visited in Europe.

Excellent choice at breakfast to start the day. Lots of on site restaurants to suit all tastes. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were generally really friendly. Booked a couple of great excursions which were well organised and enjoyable. Overall, a great experience
