A wonderful warm welcome from our gracious host marked the start of a great stay. The apartment is in an exquisite part of the country, very quiet and chilled out but a great base for exploring. The apartment is as it is on the website, very well appointed, we had everything we needed. The best part was discovering a new wine I absolutely love!

Janko was very helpful and uncomplicated, helped us to find a good place for dinner, was flexible with the breakfast arrangement. There is a lot of close by parking space and area for the kids to run. The apartment is large and well equipped. We would have liked to stay longer and had a good time there. In the end we almost paid twice (online with the booking and at check-out), and Janko’s wife was attentive and honest enough to make us aware and run after us. We are very thankful for that!

Great personal welcome with a glass of wine. Before arrival we went for a walk to Vipava Old Castle, also really nice. The accommodation is very peacefull and it has everything you need. We would higly recommend, as we did, to ask the host Janko for a wine tasting in the evening. That was a lovely experience and his wife really knows how to prepare snacks to accommodate the tasting. Really great value for the money. And ofcourse buy some wine to take home ;)

“Wished we stayed more than one night”

Janko is such a fabulous host, so welcoming, very funny and an excellent wine maker! Once we arrived at this little oasis, we wished we had planned to stay more than one night. Our kids loved exploring the grounds and we enjoyed dinner and breakfast under the trees. The apartment is very comfortable and fully equipped with everything you could need.

What a phenomenal stay. Charming estate run by a fabulous hosts. Had a pleasure to be offered delicious Janko's wines and share warm conversations. Apartment is huge, clean and well equipped. Situated just by a lovely meadow and forest. Vipava Valley is itself marvelous place on earth, populated by happy people. I do understand why.

“Worth it! Excellent host”

The host was the most simpatic and one of the kindest and generous man I have ever met, he showed us around the property and explained where everything was he made us feel very welcomed (as if we were family). They have really good wines produced by them. We are a family of 5 and the 2 bedroom flat was very comfortable. We only stayed 1 night but I can definetely reccomend it for 2/3 nights as the location is worth seeing!

Apartment is next to the wine cellar, which is excellent, due to the fact that you are in Vipava Valley :). We really appreciate our hosts hospitality, Mr. Janko. At the arrival he invites us to it’s wine cellar for a glass of wine and it was great. Actually, there was nothing not to like here.

“Not Excellent- but Incredibly”

As much I don’t want to share this anyone else, the whole experience of this stay was incredible. Janko the owner/vintner/host and holiday rep just cannot be faulted. His wines are superb and his tasting experience (hate to say it again) is incredible. The accommodation incidentally is fully equipped and fictional. We really are going back here.

Great host made us feel welcome and like at home. The apartment has everything you need. Also there's great outdoor area and spaceous parking. The kitchen has all possible amenities and dishes, large bathroom, bedrooms and even an living room area.
