The hotel is perfectly located (in the city center). The staff was great: very friendly, helpful, and well-informed. The room was modern, clean, big, and very functional. There was a nice à la carte breakfast in the restaurant downstairs.

It definitely doesn't deserve five stars. The entrance is tiny. It doesn't even have the comfort of a 3-star hotel. Also, because it's on a bar street, they play techno music until morning. The toilet leaked water. The bathroom ventilation wasn't working. The room was full of dust. I absolutely do not recommend it.

This hotel has got everything just right. Room and decor were stunning with everything you need. Staff were obliging and very welcoming. Breakfast choice, freshly cooked and quality was superb. It is very good value.

“Great place in a good location”

Absolutely fantastic staff! It's a boutique hotel with an authentic, artistic decor. Some of this did not suit me and I don't like to be a pain by asking to change my room, but Jelena showed me 4 different rooms until I found one I was happy with it and she did it with good cheer and a helpful attitude. I call that going above and beyond. The location was very good, easy for walking to the river, the park or the millennium bridge.

I don't know really how to review my one night stay. I booked this as I was expecting to dine in the restaurant with Montenegrin friends, but we went elsewhere. So I was left with a bed and breakfast hotel. and both were disappointing. The room I had, 33, on the back of the hotel was incredibly dark. (my photos are light enhanced). The receptionist put me there to minimise the late night noise, which wasn't too bad. so I am grateful for that. But I was struggling for plus points for the room. Even with every conceivable light on in the room, I still had to use a small key ring torch to access the room safe. The two chairs provided are, presumably traditional, but impractical. No kettle provided, though a quarter bottle of Vranac was on display but with a charge. The bathroom was unique and I will leave it at that. Others of course will think the room and bathroom perfectly charming and yes, I did read the reviews and view the photographs, but for once, my expectations were not met I am afraid. All members of staff I encountered were first class, the receptionist who checked me in especially so. For the rest, I am afraid this was not really to my taste, though I am sure others will love it. My score of 8 is on the generous side

“The best choice in Podgorica”

The hotel is located in the very center of Podgorica and in walking distance from many attractions, shops, restaurants and cafes. The hotel also has a restaurant of it's own which is excellent and serves great breakfast. The hotel has extremely high value for price ratio. The staff is very professional, friendly, polite and patient. I had the pleasure to communicate with Mrs. Ana D. as the representative of the hotel and she was so kind to accommodate all special requests during my whole stay. The room was spacious and had everything needed. I also had the chance to use the sauna, also very high standard. I will definitely stay at Hotel Hemera again and would recommend it to anyone, regardless whether it is for business or vacation.

1. Location: is exactly in the city center, an area full of restaurants and bars. 2. Cleanliness: perfect, every day promptly the room was refreshed. 3. The hotel: is with unusual decorations, out of ordinary, gives you a nice feeling. 4. The restaurant and breakfast: Although the service is a bit slow, good food and has a nice atmosphere. 5. The reception desk: Very kind and nice people.
