Such a fantastic place! Bring your book and enjoy a wholesome, relaxing stay. The food! Omg, literally farm to table made by the grandma / mum of the family, you can honestly taste the love in each bite. Even got to pick some cherries from their tree and take them with us :) We were on a camping road trip and just wanted a place to call home for a few days, this was the perfect place, such a beautiful family and relaxing atmosphere in a cute little tiny village just 20 min from city centre.

A fabulously warm welcome from all the family! A lovely, peaceful location and a very comfortable and clean room. Definitely a place to recommend to friends and family. We will stay here if we travel to Podgorica again.

Mladi and his wife welcomed us warmly and we had good conversations even though we only stayed for one night. We got a spontanious vegetarian dinner made from all the fresh veggies they grow in their garden. The place is beautiful and serene and the room was great so it was the perfect stay close to the airport.

We stayed at Balabani Local Stay and it was truly one of the warmest, most welcoming places we've ever experienced. The staff are incredibly kind, responsive, and genuinely caring — you feel more like a guest in someone’s home than in a hotel. The rooms were spotless and cozy, with very comfortable beds that made for a great night's sleep. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. Breakfast alone is worth the stay! If you're looking for peace, comfort, and true hospitality — this is the place. Would happily come back again!

The house is located near Gornje Malo Blato & Skadar Lake, which offers a great opportunity to make some beautiful trips where the house owner could be a great choice as a guide. “would come back again! we were absolutely charmed with the hosting family and place's tranquility!”

A charming family runs the place: we were met by Tiana, her husband, and their sweet little daughter. In the morning, their mother made us the tastiest coffee, and their father offered figs from the trees on the property. Also, we had to leave early but changed our plan and stayed there an extra hour, as it was so cozy and tranquil: swings in the green grass yard, a big wooden table under the vineyard trees, a picturesque dog, and a funny little kitten playing with us. The apartment itself was clean and had 2 sleeping places on 2 floors (we sleep separately with my better half). Everything was clean and tidy. Would come back again!

I missed my plane, had to find an urgent accommodation being with a cat, and the place turned to be so wonderful that I totally forgot about unpleasant events brought me here. I stayed in cottage and in bungalow - both are very stylish and comfortable (cottage is fully equipped with everything needed, bungalow has outdoor shower and toilet, but the view from the bungalow is really worth seeing). Owners are wonderful family, educated, tactful, interesting multilingual people who thoughtfully create the perfect atmosphere so the guests can both enjoy privacy or join the company of other travellers. I got help with all the issues. It’s nice seeing someone putting so much soul in their business, and I know this place will always prosper.
