Set in 500 hectares of private land, Pieve di Caminino Historic Farm features forests, gardens and 2 lakes. It offers elegant accommodation in an 11th-century building with historic paintings and antique furniture. Pieve di Caminino has its own swimming pool overlooking Montemassi Castle. Set on a hilltop, it offers panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards, churches from the Middle Ages and, on clear days, the sea. Housed in a 11th-century building, this historic property offers a choice of rooms, suites and apartments with free WiFi. Each one includes a toaster, kettle with tea and coffee and a private bathroom. Some come with air conditioning and a kitchen or kitchenette. Pieve di Caminino Historic Farm is a 10-minutes drive from Roccastrada and near a number of medieval towns. It is a 40-minute drive from Castiglione della Pescaia on the coast.

“Perfection”
This place was heaven! If I never left the grounds I would have been happy. The place is stunning, the beds and rooms super comfortable and unique, the pool perfection, views amazing, the host incredibly kind and fun, and the farmhouse an absolute gem of a get away. If you have the opportunity to stay I urge you to take it. Also make sure you check out the near by town and the old fortress up there. It’s one of the best views in Tuscany! And Emy, thanks again for a great stay. We will be back!

“Magical place in Tuscany”
The location is so dreamy with many hang-out spots throughout the property and a big pool. I enjoyed walks in the forest and olive trees adjacent to the property. The host was super kind and helpful, we were welcomed with a bottle of wine!

“A true gem of history with a touch of warmth and charme”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pieve di Caminino Historic Farm, which welcome dogs as warmly as their two-legged guests. Not only was everything exactly as described on Booking.com but the kind checkin by the owner, Emy, and his continuous availability for any questions were extraordinary. This location is perfect for finding the quiet on one site and having a multitude of attractions to explore within only a 30 to 60 minute drive, including the beach. The farm is a pure charme with the lobby being a true treasure of antiques telling stories of over 150 years. I can only most highly recommend this place and their owners.

“We had a wonderful authentic experience”
Everything was perfect! From the moment we arrived we were expected with the fireplace on and music playing in our apartment which made us feel very welcomed. The whole farm is very authentic and well maintained and it gives you the real tuscan countryside experience. We enjoyed walking on the farm and discovering everything the property had to offer. The host was very friendly and responsive and he gave us plenty of helpful information and recommendations on what to visit during our stay. We hope we get the chance to come back here.

“An idyllic place to stay”
Emy was an excellent host, truly kind and gracious. The location is absolutely beautiful, the property itself has plenty of space to wander or to sit by the pool and stare at the view, and the surrounding areas have lots of everything (from classic Tuscan medieval hilltop village to tiny perfect beaches). I used Caminino as my place to come back to swim and read after exploring beaches or vineyards (Montalcino is close). I was travelling alone, and the school house was well appointed and spacious (and would have been big enough for two people - certainly bigger than a standard hotel room). It is simple, agriturismo accommodation, but comfortable and clean and picturesque. Caminino felt totally relaxing, surrounded by nature and history and was absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to go back.
