“An awesome base from which to explore the Pantanal”
This hotel is fabulous, the staff are great, and the location is awesome! We visited with a hire car so that we could drive the Transpantaneira Rd ourselves and this hotel is so close to the start of the road, it was amazing. There is also a really fabulous restaurant just across the road from the hotel where the pizzas and gin cocktails were amazing. The hotel can arrange for a trip to visit the river and I would absolutely recommend that you do this.

The pousada is right at the entrance to the Pantanal, the breakfast is excellent, you can reach the center by foot and there is a " eating out" place in front of it.
