This hotel surpassed our expectations. What an amazing place to stay at. The surrounding of the building is beautiful, next to a small waterfall of a river and opposite of a nice green park and the landmark, the Samogitian Art Museum. The hotel is cosy and beautifully designed with attention to small details. The rooms are well organised and equipped for the perfect stay. We had dinner at the restaurant "Flow" and we enjoyed it very much. Will write a seperate review ... but it was a very good culinary experience. Fine dine experience ... The food was delicious, tasty and a nice touch was the regional "Samogitian" options. Breakfast was good with plenty of dishes to choose from. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We love to come back to this place.

The fantastic location by the river and park, the friendliness and profesionalim of the team, the room with a view, the breakfast and most especially the brilliant food. I don't know about a Michelin key but it should definitely be looked at for a bib. I've been to many that have been part of this group and the Flow restaurant stands out. The menu is surprisingly inventive for a location that I would classify as internationally not that well visited. With the dishes labelled by their inspiration or produce, Lithuanian, New Zealand, Japan, Norway..., the menu reads like a top call city restaurant. 'Flow' could of course have had pretentions above it's station but the chef that night (sous chef Lucia) delivered in spades. Maybe the tomahawk chop was too safely cooked but the langousine bisque was outstanding. The desert which was a selection of beautiful sweet bites was one of the nicest I've had in a restaurant of its standard in a long time. In terms of the room, I slept fantastically on a high quality mattress. There was good WiFi, good heating or air-conditioning options and the bathroom was excellent with good products and towels. I think I paid about €90 for a superior room with view and breakfast included. This represents unbelievable value. This area of Lithuania is stunning with the nearby Lakes and forests. If you plan to visit then this has to be the hotel to stay at.

Beautiful view from the hotel of the river and convenient for a walk in Plunge in the park. Staff in the hotel are always friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious as usual. Third time we have stayed here and hope to be back in the Autumn.
