We very much enjoyed the warm hospitality of the host and his family, My kids used the possibility to interact with and feed the animals. One can also buy fresh and quality farm products like eggs and milk. For us the property was a convenient and relaxing stopover on the way to the coast.

We had a wonderful two-day stay at the self-sustained Eco Farm Tara in Durmitor, Montenegro. The hosts was very welcoming, provided a delicious family dinner, and gave great tips for local activities. The rooms were clean and well-supplied, offering a spectacular view over the Tara canyon and bridge. We enjoyed a good introduction to the farm animals, including cute kittens and a baby lamb. A major highlight was the convenient and enjoyable rafting experience, located just a few hundred meters from the farm.

Room was spotless clean! The property is so beautiful and relaxing. Meal was homemade and so nice! Also great and welcoming owners. Overall a 10/10 stay

Good location next to the Tara Bridge. Very friendly host, unique rural household. Bedroom was completely fine and the shared bathroom was very clean. Overall, good value for money.

Great guesthouse in a very peaceful environment! The hosts were lovely but struggled to communicate a little due to language barrier but that didn’t matter! The setting is stunning in the mountains - WiFi was good & shared bathroom was very clean!

The host was helpful and accommodating. The location is convenient for exploring the national park and offers amazing views. The apartment was cozy and well equipped. Parking is available right in the garden in front of the house and food can be ordered in advance on site.

“Lovely animals, an even lovelier host family”

We felt like being family friends on a visit rather than hotel guests – and that was a great thing. Playing football with the host family's kids was so much fun, and ordering a home cooked dinner & breakfast were all memorable experiences. We got to bring the cows from pasture, meet the sheep, feed the pigs and greet the chickens. One of my kids said this was their definite favourite stay during our Balkans trip. The zip lines crossing Tara Canyon are also just a short hop away from the farm.

Lovely place with a great view of the mountains and Tara bridge. the owner and her family are really nice and kind. They cooked us a wonderful dinner and showed our son around their farm. A great place to spend a night if you're in the area.

“Go for the local stay that is just great”

It was in a perfect location if you want to go rafting and ziplining at the Tara Bridge in Durmitor. The family is super nice and we very much enjoyed the home cooked local meal. The daughters were kindenough to ask if we were interested in feeding the cows and goats woth them, super sweet. Can only recommend this place to erveyone who likes to go local, off the beaten path but still with all the luxuries and comforts you would like.

Very nice owners. It feels they love the place and making a lot of efforts to make it a welcoming and cozy. When we arrived (pretty late), the wood stove was on welcoming us into a warm room after the freezing cold temperatures outside. We were offered a hot tea and it was very nice. There is all you would need for your stay.
