Villa Mukinja is located on a quiet and peaceful spot in the centre of Plitvice Lakes National Park, a 10-minute walk from the lakes. It offers free Wi-Fi and free access to the Finnish sauna and hot tub. The delicious food offer consists of a breakfast including the local dairy speciality Basa, home-made cheese. Dinner is accompanied by home-made plum brandy (Croatian šljivovica), an aperitif that is traditionally on the house. The spacious rooms at the Villa Mukinja have private bathrooms with hairdryer. A garden view is at the guests' disposal. Medical massages can be booked at an extra charge. The villa comprises a spacious garden and a private terrace. In the dining room you can also watch TV. Shuttle service is available upon request. The property is less then 500 metres from State Road D1. Shuttle service to any destination in Croatia is available upon request.

“Wish I could have stayed longer”
As a family run business, you get all the personal attention to first and foremost: your safe arrival to Villa Mukinja. I had missed the Flix bus from Zagreb as the berths were not clear. Tihomir personally arranged for private transfer from the bus station to the property within 1.5 hours at a reasonable rate. The extent of service was impeccable. He even ensured that dinner was taken care of by sending us the menu enroute to the property 2 hours away. The rooms were pleasantly decorated and shower pressure and temperature control was great (unlike a 5-star hotel we stayed in Vienna leg of this trip)

“Exceptional”
The place is really beautiful and comfortable, but the high point was the hospitality and kindness from Azmir, he made us feel very special and at home. The sauna and hot tub were wonderful to relax after a day of exploring, and everything was perfectly clean and well prepared. The location is peaceful, surrounded by nature, which made the experience even more unique. We would definitely love to come back and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, warmth, and a welcoming atmosphere.

“Good base for a quick visit to Plitvice”
Great location not far from either entrance of the NP (if you have a car). Really excellent scrambled eggs! Electricity had gone off in the whole town in the morning but the staff made the most of what they could give us - we were very appreciative (and shower was still hot too). Lots of easy parking. Room was more modern and comfortable in reality than in photos.

Ismir is the best! From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with so much warmth and generosity that we immediately felt at home. He made sure we had everything we needed and encouraged us to feel comfortable, as if the place was ours. His tips for visiting the national park were absolutely perfect and made our day unforgettable. We also got engaged during our stay, and when we told him, he celebrated with us as if he were an old friend it was truly special. Staying at Villa Mukinja was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you’re visiting Plitvice, don’t think twice, this is the place to stay.

“Perfect stay near Plitvice with great hosts, private whirlpool”
Everything was perfectly organized! The location is great – only about 15 minutes from Plitvice Lakes National Park. The private whirlpool was amazing (max. 5 people) and we were even allowed to enjoy drinks while relaxing in it. The host was absolutely perfect – super friendly and relaxed. The sauna is small but cozy and perfect for couples, with essential oils provided. The room was also very clean. Everything was just great!

“Bad value for money”
Good location, near the Plitvicka Jezera park (walkable). Staff allowed us to park the car there while we visit the park (although we didn't use the offer, it was nice).

A wonderful, quiet and very comfortable place to visit the Plitvice Lakes or simply to relax in the regional park! Excellent and clean room: new, comfortable and cozy. A private, cozy sauna upon reservation and an amazing warm outdoor jacuzzi. I especially want to thank Asmir, who sincerely welcomed us, showed and explained everything, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. It felt like home, but even better. Thank you!

The owner was super nice and caring, very helpful with little baby. We enjoyed the dinner very much - trout with local wine - and then the fact that we could relax in sauna and jacuzzi. The proximity of the lakes is great - just 15 minutes walk.
