Wonderful narrow road, trees surrounding leads you to the village with just couple of houses and you find beautiful house on the edge of that village with stunning view of untouched nature and comfortable garden where you can enjoy. We enjoyed staying here with our kids, they loved playing around together. We will definitely recommend this house and hope to come again :)

The host was friendly, but the accommodation was much farther from what was described, which made the stay difficult. I hope this feedback helps improve future listings.

“Cosy isolation close to the lakes and shops.”

Location is great. The random dog is really friendly! The jacuzzi was a welcome treat after our long walk around the lakes. Had a lovely bbq with marshmallows around the fire. Stars were amazing. House is nice and typical mountain style… cosy.

The house is in the forest with beautiful and peaceful scenery. The accomodation was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the jacuzzi too. :) The host was kind and responds quickly to our questions. Also there were two lovely dog in the neighbourhood, they came to us everyday to say hello. :)

Location, facilities. Super friendly and helpful host, always here for you if you need anything. House is really big and ideal for weekend getaway. Few minute drive to Plitvice and you have your privacy. Jacuzzi is really good and excellent after hiking all day. Would recommend 10/10.

“Beautiful house in a gorgeous location!”

We stayed in House Poljana for a few days after our wedding to relax and unwind. We wanted to explore Plitvice and local cuisine, while also having a chance to rest and enjoy some peace and quiet. The house is only a few km away from Entrance 1 and it's a perfect location to be both in vicinity of the lakes but also to enjoy some solitude. We loved the hot tub and the house was perfect for us. The kitchen was well equipped and we were glad to have a few kitchen essentials stocked. Wifi was great. We're really hoping to get back here at some point! Perfect place for a mini moon!

“Relax place to stay for visiting Plitvica lakes and more outdoor activities”

It was a nice remote location, 6km from the main road and last house in the street. Large garden so very relaxed to chill. The house has all facilities you can expect including a jacuzzi on the veranda. The location is not far from the Plitvica lakes. The owner is very hospitable and always available to answer questions.

The house was very well equipped and Jelena and her family tended to all of our needs. The surroundings are great for exploring and walks with kids.

“Quiet and calm place in the middle of nature”

The house is situated in the middle of nowhere: large garden, quiet, calm and 20 minutes drive to the park. The house itself is nice with a big fireplace which was "on" upon arrival, the jacuzzi is a nice extra. For two / three people the house is large enough for more it is somewhat small.

Peaceful location surrounded by nature. Cute wooden cabin, well equipped, away from the crowds. Comfortable jacuzzi. Beautiful garden, not fenced. We enjoyed our stay and liked the extra pets such as the neighbors dog, cat and foxes :)

I understand this is the country side but House poljana could benefit in getting some Netflix, specially for the kids.

It’s a perfect place for relaxation. There’s a lot of details and features which make this house a perfect place to relax and not think about stress. With hot tub, fire pit, board games and barbecue there won’t be a single minute of boredom. Also the environment is peaceful and sooting. The owner (Jelena) is very kind and always on call if you need something. We will come here again multiple times 😁

The hot tub was great (despite no instructions) and the garden great for a family visiting with children. The property was spotlessly clean and located off the main road meaning it was very quiet. It did feel that you were out in the countryside. The vision for the property is good , but perhaps needs to be marketed slightly differently.

“Lovely Holiday Home ideal for a Green Retreat”

Lovely holiday house set into a peaceful area surrounded by greenery and nature. As there was just the two of us, we found it quite spacious and greatly equipped with all needed for a carefree stay- from basic cooking ingredients to a spacious hot-tub on the terrace. Our main goal was to find a property ideal for a quiet retreat, and House Poljana turned out to be a great solution for it.
