Plitvice Golden Lakes Rooms is located 1.5 km from the entrance to Plitvice Lakes. Maria gave us such a warm welcome that we immediately felt at home. She made us a cozy breakfast and we had a wonderful rest before we went to see the lakes and travelled further. Cannot recommend enough!

The location was great, we specifically wanted to park our car and go by foot into the national park, which was easy to access by walking about 30 mins through the forest. The surrounding was amazing, with a vibrant green meadow with sun lounges available, great to rest in the quiet after a full day in the park. Breakfast was good with a range of options available, including pancakes!

“Lovely stay, comfortable”
The inn was place well for visiting Plitvice National Park. Pretty area. We walked to Plitvice National Park, entrance 2 , about 2 km. If you have GPS, you’ll find it easily. Also, the area has some nice restaurants. I would by pass Grand Lakes Restaurant. It’s pricey and there are other restaurants in the area more affordable but my partner enjoyed the food. I had a veggie burger; mushy, not good. Our room and breakfast was very good. Nice hostess as well and very helpful.

Fantastic place to stay if you are in Plitvickie Lakes aera. Close to the National Park entrance. Very friendly host, excellent and tasty breakfast from local ingredients. If you are looking for a good base to hike or visit Plitvickie Lakes National Park I highly recommend Golden Lakes Rooms

Such a pretty accommodation in a very pretty location. Close 20min walk, easy walk, to gate 2 - entrance to the Lakes. Clean and comfortable rooms. Large enough. Brekky was great. Would stay again.
