“Wonderful, relaxing hotel walking distance from the lakes with the loveliest staff.”

We liked everything about this hotel but the staff made it extra special. They couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating if they tried. Nothing was too much trouble. We had dinner at their restaurant and the meals were delicious and huge! It is walking distance to the park (entrance 2 I think) so we managed a walk around the lakes in the afternoon after checking in. The lovely man in reception gave us a map and instructions of what he believed we could see in the few hours before nightfall and even offered us walking poles if we needed them. We left early the next morning to see the remainder of the park but ideally would have loved to stay an extra day or two as it was just so serene at the hotel (you could hear the waterfall and nothing else at night, it was so relaxing). Thoroughly recommend staying here if you want to visit Plitvice Jezera.

“An all round fabulous stay”

We had a very good sized room with everything we needed. We loved the location (very close to the Park) and we enjoyed the ambience and food in the restaurant. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We traveled with our dog who was made very welcome.

The place was fantastic, and so were the staff and the restaurant food. We saw some people in the comments giving bad reviews about the food: on the contrary, lunch and dinner at Etno Garden Exclusive were AMAZING! Thank you for everything!

“Fabulous!”

This is a fabulous place to stay in Plitvica selo. Staff are so lovely and helpful with a great restaurant and food. The walk to entrance 3 of the lakes takes just a few minutes and beats all the crowds at the other two entrances. Highly recommend arriving there at 7am to have the place to yourself for a while before it gets too busy (we visited in August). Also follow the route suggested by the hotel staff - it was a good suggestion and took around 5hours to complete. The accommodation is a little oasis of calm and beauty and I'd definitely stay here again if in the area.

It is in a beautifull place, the rooms are well equipped and nice , clean, everything is there what is needed. The staff was very welcoming, helpfull and nice. It is very close to an entrance - walking distance - to the National Park. The restaurant is in very nice place, mainly the outer area, the serving was wonderfull - the lady who served there was very very nice and kind. The food was also great.

“Your base to explore heaven.”

First of all Plitvice park is heaven on earth, so anything more comfortable than sleeping on hard rock would have been enough. But this property gives you much more than that. It's 3 minutes walk away from entrance 3, making it a perfect base to enjoy the park. Our room was very elegantly furnished, had everything we needed and the staff were super friendly.

“Top location and great ambiance”

My partner and I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. They patiently answered all our questions, which were many :) Everything was very clean and we had a very comfortable sleep. The room was quiet and surprisingly large. The location is great, it's very close to the entrance to the park, so after arriving we didn't need a car anymore. The food was also excellent, everything was really delicious. Warm recommendations.

“Memorable stay”

We had a very nice time. The room was comfortable, very nicely decorated, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was commendable. We tried several dishes in the restaurant and I can say that overall the food was excellent, the wine as well. Great location and friendly staff made our visit a very nice experience.

“Brilliant place to stay close to Plitvice National Park”

Etno Gardens is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay, really close to the entrance to the National Park. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and very relaxing, with high quality showers and storage spaces. There is lots to do on the site, with lots of activities available. There is a nice restaurant (a little pricier than other places in Croatia, but the food is incredible), and an outdoor seating area with an open fire on colder evenings. The staff were all super friendly and really helpful, giving lots of guidance on how to get into the National Park.

“Great Lodge near the Lake”

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Stayed in lodge which was super clean and staff were super friendly! When you go to reception, you will see “no card payment, only cash” but you can actually pay by card as staff calls to the office where payment is processed!

“Pleasant, but could be better. The grilled trout cheered us up in a quiet area”

We had grilled trout for both meals and it was great.

“Perfect location to beat the crowds.”

A great location at the 'secret' entry to Plitvice Lakes. Although our rooms were located away from the main area and restaurant, it was perfect for our short stay to visit the park.
