Overview
The Plettenberg is a 5-star hotel, located on a rocky headland in the heart of The Garden Route. It offers 2 infinity pools and the stylish The Plettenberg Restaurant. All 37 individually decorated guest rooms are equipped with a spacious en suite bathroom and smart TV. In addition, every room offers a refrigerator, a hairdryer and a telephone. Guests can spot dolphins and whales, and enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and mountains. The Plettenberg offers a wide range of treatments at Fresh Wellness Spa as well as a gym with complimentary water. There are several golf courses within 3 km of the hotel. “Luxurious base for a stay in Plettenberg”
The hotel location on top of the cliffs overlooking the sea is great. The hotel is well fitted out and the rooms spacious and very comfortable. Early morning tea or coffee brought to the room is a very pleasant way to start the day. Breakfast buffet was varied and delicious.

We woke up to a stunning sunrise over the Indian Ocean, and dolphins playing in the surf below the cliffs where the hotel is located. Incredibly memorable.

“Superb oceanview experience”
bfast was great - room a bit small and would have loved a sea facing room ( now it costs more) our shower leaked water into the rest of the bathroom everything else superb, will be back

“Incredible, game changing stay”
It’s hard to recommend this hotel more. Probably in the top 5 we have stayed in around the world. Such a destination hotel, beautifully themed and decorated, great bar, fabulous service. The room was exceptional. We couldn’t have loved this place more. Incredible views.

“Absolutely wonderful and so comfortable!”
Our room was absolutely stunning and was so comfortable, breakfast was delicious with a mixture of continental and a la carte, lovely swimming pool and incredible staff. We arrived unwell and the kitchen accommodated our off menu order. Not to mention the view over Lookout Beach - just wow!
